According to oddschecker Martin favourite to return to Southampton.

That would be genuinely hilarious but I can't see it. Carrick seems the obvious choice.

Would be funny, but I can’t see it happening. I think it shows that the markets have no idea on where Southampton are looking…wouldn’t put it past them appointing the U21 manager who is taking charge of the next couple of games.

No way he’s leaving Valencia for the Championship. Carrick will stabilise, but I’m pretty sure he’ll head to Southampton now.

Carvahal not Corberan

I’m hoping Norwich get rid and hire Martin.
I don’t want Martin here.

Have to admit, the Norwich forum makes entertaining reading. Proper meltdown going on.

Carrick I would be relatively OK with but we’ll now likely lose that opportunity to Southampton.

Dream would be someone like Marco Rose but it isn’t gonna happen.

Has anyone suggested Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha yet? He's pretending to be CEO so I don't really see any issue with him pretending to be manager for a bit.

I could see it being someone like Carlos Carvahal or David Wagner.
Both experienced in this division.
Adi Hutter is who I’d want us to get but there’s zero chance he’ll come here.

Wagner would be a decent shout. Didn’t he get sacked after getting Norwich into the playoffs too?

They finished 6th and lost to Leeds in playoffs and got sacked the day after.

And Wolves set to go back to O'Neil, likely they'll be a Championship club as well.

Wagner has a strange record not sure what I thinkk of him as an option. Didn't Huddlesfield get promoted with a negative GD?

In Enzo we lucked upon an elite manager who was able to paper over the cracks. Before he left there were reports that he was demanding major changes behind the scenes because he felt our off-field operation was nowhere near the level required to compete at the top, and that the club had agreed to do what he asked. Then Chelsea came in for him, none of the changes were implemented and we downgraded to Steve Cooper. A proper sliding doors moment.

Sounds like Chelsea would have also gone for Kompany as they were very impressed with him, but Rangnick changed his mind on the Bayern job, Kompany went to Bayern and Enzo to Chelsea. One of those domino effects! Enzo would likely have transformed the club.

They had Danny Ward in goal, so that was expected..Not the promotion, the negative GD.

That's one relegation spot sorted then.

And Southampton had more points than them at this stage last season…

Not with Top and Rudkin at the helm.

You relegate them by playing Ward and Amartey😂

Absolutely!
Ward worse than useless.
amartey I didn’t mind as a squad player. But to drop Soyuncu for him. Unbelievable. Brendan gave up months before he was sacked.
Many people to blame for our relegation Brendan certainly high on the list.
Doesn’t get what he wants and throws toys out the pram.  Really hope he takes the wolves job, and they go down. Nothing against wolves fans or the club. Just Brendan needs the relegation on his CV that he forced on us.
