Dean Smith incoming …….

You know what Deano is pretty at good this level, if he hadn't have come to us in 2023 then he might have been decent shout probably same with Cooper decent championship managers just not premier league.

the only positive about the points deduction and manager search is that we are essentially in a relegation scrap.

I mean if you can get this team even remotely playing at all, any incoming manager has got one the easiest relegation fights you can have. This will look good an anyones cv and allow them to build easy credit in bank.

in a strange way, the change in expectation and objective could make us more appealing. 😂 of course I could be talking bull.

Skubala odds have shortened.
Not that it means a great deal but I’d be happy with him.

I think there had always been something in this one.

Enzo for the remainder of the season. You owe us baldy.

Don’t think he would touch us with a barge pole.

Skubala would be interesting, but I would very surprised if Leicester board have even heard of him.

He is from and has worked in and around Leicester. Maybe Rudkin has known of him for a long time.

Don’t think so. He will have bigger and better opportunities

Well they were both PE teachers (one of them should still be) so maybe there is some Facebook group they're both members of...

I know, it'll be King or an uninspiring name.

Skubala would be great if we could get him. Don't be put off by the PE teacher origins as his trajectory has only been upwards since. He's worked with academies, Leeds as an assistant coach and now doing a superb job at Lincoln.

The issue would be the sell; Lincoln could conceivably cross us as they go up and we go down, and he's absolutely loved there. That being said, he may well back himself to keep us up and, with the monkey now off our backs, could see it as a fresh start with an excellent academy (where he's specialised,) facilities well beyond what he's worked with in his career so far, probably some money to work with after all of the outgoings in the summer and the chance to build his career at a club who, with all due respect to Lincoln, have a much higher ceiling if run correctly.

Given he's done all he has at Lincoln with one of the smallest budgets in the league, you'd say there's some grit and siege mentality there as he gets players to play above themselves. Probably the closest realistic thing to a Pearson regen out there.

If he has any links to Southampton they’ll have heard of him.

Pretty sure Craig David is from Southampton. Get him in.

They could true, but a manager confident of their own ability would look at us and think I can get 6 wins out of 16 at lease and then be able to build a better squad next season.

Trying to be positive, but its difficult.

If we can’t get at least 6 wins in this shit league till the end of season we deserve to go down.
