If there’s truth in Deano, wonder if Fuchs might be tempted to come in with him after working together at Charlotte. That would be even more compensation mind and damn harsh on Newport.

I met Deano after our relegation and he seemed to have PTSD when I mentioned Leicester to him, I’m not sure why he would put himself through that again!

I don’t think he was put in a very fair position and the situation with our players had to have been much more toxic than what he was sold.

Solid guy and a good manager but I’m sure he’ll have better offers where he can make more of an impact.

Dean Smith being mooted FFS

I got told Smith yesterday morning.

We could do a lot, lot worse.

I'm ok with Smith. Surprised people aren't really.

Wouldn’t normally be but we are where we are … not sure we could do better at the moment.

**** sake...he was so so boring. Didn't inspire anyone!

I disagree.

He’s got a better CV than Cooper, RVN and Cifuentes combined in my opinion.

If his name was Deano Smithyentez, people would be happier.

We need solid, reliable and structure. He will add all of this.

If he’d have been given those two horror games, you’d like to think we would have survived.

We need gutting and rebuilding. I’m hoping this (if true) is the start of that.

If you're going back to an ex...go to Nigel. This club man😭

Unfortunately I don’t think he’s in a position health wise to be considered.

I’ve personally heard that this is incorrect.

I wouldn’t be totally against smith to honest but it would be quite funny if he took us down again.

Really, I don't think it would be funny at all.

I'm not not OK with Smith. He's fine I guess. Fairly underwhelming but we are where we are.

The main reason it's horrifying isn't him individually, it's just that the most credible rumours seem to be imply we've considered a dreadful manager we've liked previously (Martin) and two former managers (Enzo and Smith.)

The horrifying part is the simply staggering lack of any kind of creativity or footballing awareness at all. If they haven't previously managed Leicester or Southampton, we don't have a ****ing clue.
