Chrysalis Posted 11 February Posted 11 February Look at the hunger in this thread for a new manager, if only the fan base had the same hunger for a new owner and DoF. 1

He is one name I like out of the list. Hess risk taker, likes youth players and doesn’t mince his words. He could be the right kind of character to get a tune out of this squad. I do however feel his patience will run out fairly quickly with Top and Rudkin. I imagine Top and Rudkin only become a big issue once we get near a transfer window. Priority 1 is staying up.
southfox66 Posted 11 February Posted 11 February We should definitely sound out Thomas Frank he's probably got a good pay out from Spurs plus good money while there, he might see us as a potential Brentford type project he just got to keep us up and rebuild his own squad next season, it won't happen but it's a nice thought 3

County Fox Posted 11 February Posted 11 February Hassenhuttl it is for me, especially after learning that Bertrand didn't like him, at first, because of how strict he was! 1
Chelmofox Posted 11 February Posted 11 February Wasn't Frank one of the best paid in the Premier League? Last interview i saw of him he looked completely frazzled. I think you take the salary for a bit, get a few weeks somewhere nice, and then see what's available in a few months and if something is ok, get planning a pre season. Would be an absolute mentalist to run into a Championship relegation battle.

I don’t know enough about our financial situation to be able to pass comment, so I’ll keep supporting the team regardless of where we are, as I always have, This isn’t the first time we’ve been sh*t, in fact we’ve probably been that for the vast majority of the time I’ve supported them. It might be my age that colours my opinions, but I don’t understand those “supporters” that are clamouring for a change of ownership. I wouldn’t swap ours for any other clubs and I certainly wouldn’t want us to be owned by a sport washing Gulf State or an American carpetbagger, or any other carpetbagger or chancer. For me football isn’t all about winning it’s about the emotions that come to the fore when supporting your team. That obviously includes the unbridled joy when we won the league and the FA cup, but also the gut wrenching pain that I experienced last night. Regardless of where we are or where we end up, Leicester City will have my support as long as I retain the ability to remember. We have not been this shit for the vast majority of yours or anyone else's supporting years. This will be the fifth bottom half finish in the second division in 35 years. This is not the norm. 6 1

Popular Post winteriscoming Posted 11 February Author Popular Post Posted 11 February Thomas Frank will end up at Palace when Glasner leaves in the summer. The chances of him coming here are zero. I’d actually say it’s even less than zero. 5
Corky Posted 11 February Posted 11 February If you are an available manager, why would you accept a three month deal when we are still well within the length of the original contract given to the first of the three managers we have recently sacked, all of whom seemed to get the lot paid up? Surely you would demand for similar? 1
Drain the Swamp Posted 11 February Posted 11 February If Hassenhutl is strict, wants high energy play and is all in all a bit of a bastard, I'll have him. The first 45 minutes showed what aggressive play before the team turned into a rabble of cucks after the break. 1

Loxm Posted 11 February Posted 11 February Blackburn switching from Rowett to Michael O'Neil.. could suggest Rowett is speaking with us/been offered it.. Or they are forcing his hand 2

Or they are forcing his hand I would be ok with Rowett or Hasenhuttl (it still shows how far we have fallen, for us to be happy about these names!!!). I do worry that if Rowett went to Blackburn, he would no doubt keep them up at our expense. 1
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 11 February Posted 11 February We need to be wary of what our competitors are doing and act swiftly. Our competitors. In the relegation zone. Of the second tier. **** me.

The club is financially reliant on getting promoted back to the Premier League by the end of next season to fund the loans. Beyond that income drops dramatically, loans will still be outstanding and beyond Fatawu we don't have any assets to finance them. Top is no longer CEO of King Power and he is no longer in a position to shuffle funds from the business to support the club. We're way beyond 'living within our means' territory. we were in league one once
