Not convinced that throwing another one of our legends out of the door, who knows what it takes to be successful at this club, is the answer but I get the frustration.

The club threw him under a bus putting him in charge, why some fans would then want to do this as well is pretty confusing.

I love Andy King but I take serious umbrage with the suggestion the the fans need to get on board.

The club and the owners are the problem and it's embarrassing to hear kingy trotting out this fan blaming bullshit. He's just parroting Top's 'don't criticise me' sensitivity.

That's the issue here. A club legend has been bought and paid for. It's your lot fault for not being better. Don't blame the players or the inept owners.

I must have missed the parts you mention, because I’ve not seen it.

Quote the bit were he blames the fans?

The line about 'everyone pulling together' is hardly a subtle suggestion the fans need to shut up, is it?

This is set against the context: Becky Vardy getting at the fans, Fatuwu getting at the fans, Top getting at the fans.

Because he doesn't outright state "this is the fans fault and you can quote me" doesn't mean that it hasn't been the rhetoric coming from thing club for weeks and weeks.

could be a thinly veiled attack at the bad apples in the team also…

whether you like King or not there is simply nothing about him as a coach or manager.

would you tolerate someone as ineffective as King who DIDNT have such a "connection" to the club?

Reads to me more like he's saying some of the senior players weren't bothered and treated the season as nothing more than getting a wedge for minimal effort

Too little too late Kingy.

Sorry mate but you were responsible for those standards. Nobody in that backroom team should still be at this football club.

Ffs how many times do people need to be reminded that wasn't his role! Its like saying Brian barry Murphy is awful because we were bad under rvn

Thrown under the bus for a role he wasn’t ready for with a bunch of players who let multiple managers down but yeah let’s kick one of our greatest legends out the door …

Give me a reason to keep him here then?

No I didn’t realise that? Thanks for clearing it up.

He’s been part of a coaching set up that has rotted since Maresca - need a clean slate and they all need to go.

You're more fun when you ignore posts brother lol.

How do you know King in particular has had a negative influence?

Need a complete reset, nice bloke decent player but i dont really see why we would keep him after the last 2 years, as many as it is possible to be rid of for me.players , coaches, management etc…

Been a full time senior coach for less than 18 months (probably actually less) and I genuinely think people believe he was having massive input in to what they were all doing on the training ground lmao

Basically a trainee

You might think this as some gigantic gotcha moment but it applies both ways doesn't it?

Point me to the quote where he says it isn't the fault of the fan?

The point being it's being arrived at through a process of inference and offering quotations from writers isn't evidence or supportive of anything.

So what your saying is neither of you should be jumping to conclusions and having a guess?

No I just think it weird to make stuff up.....

Plenty of shit to moan about without doing that but each to their own.
