Saw that 5yrs ago we beat Leeds 4-1, and went a point of the top of the PL. Next 5yrs have been somewhat of a horrific nightmare.
Where do people think we will be in the next 5yrs for the below?

1) Division and position in the league

2) Will Aiyawatt and Rudkin still be here

3) Who out of the current crop of players (if any) will still be here

4) Our biggest player sale that will happen

5) Player with most potential

6) Anything else

6) Anything else

1 - 2nd in Championship

2 - neither

3 - Alves, Nelson, perhaps a couple of others

4 - Monga

5 - someone from the youth team, that's currently only 12 or 13?

6 - stadium expansion falls through (again), Family Stand still hasn't been swapped with the Kop, everyone still yearns for a Vardy statue, Birch comes out on a wheelchair every so often with clipboard firmly in hand.

1) Division and position in the league - Championship, lets say 3rd

2) Will Aiyawatt and Rudkin still be here - No

3) Who out of the current crop of players (if any) will still be here - Not a single one

4) Our biggest player sale that will happen - In that time? I'd say probably Fatawu

5) Player with most potential - Literally impossible to know, won't be anybody from this squad that's a certainty

6) Anything else - We will sink to our lowest ever position if Aiyawatt is still here for the next Euros. We will be 'saved' by going into admin.

5) Player with most potential - Darren Motsi

6) Anything else - Remember we were in league one onc………oh wait….

We'll have gone bust and dropped out of the Football League. AFC Leicester will be top of the Combined Counties or whatever it is. Someone off here will be doing time for murdering Rudkin - both they and Vardy will have stands named after them down at AFC.

7th in championship, might get in play-off’s might not (5th year running )

The rest of the family members at the club become more prominent but Top is still at the top. Rudkin still has the compromising photo’s of Top so of course he’s still here too.

Choudhury, now grey thin-haired with huge beard, playing centre half and captain. Jakub in goal, Silko Thomas in and out of side. Luke Thomas obviously rubber stamped on the team sheet for the next decade / eternity. Soumare is Filbert.

Monga but folllowing a couple of bad injuries didn’t achieve the fee we needed, “just” 45 million or so. Nelson went for 40 million.

Potential ? Finley Vardy is breaking all goalscoring records at Schoolboy level, running very very fast. Briggs established in first team.

New manager of renamed “The King Power Foxes”, Ben Chilwell is making Cooper look popular.

Hot dogs are delivered by automated drones (no change then).

Seagrave sold to Nottingham Forest, we’re back at Belvoir Drive .

Rumours of new stadium at Saffron Lane Athletics site accelerate beyond me having a recurring dream that it happens one day.

Half time “entertainment” is an ABBA-esque 3D Hologram show of Showaddywaddy / Englebert / Kasabian / Rustie Lee.

1. Division and Position

7th in the Premier League

After bouncing between “we’re back!” and “we’re doomed!” a couple of times, we re-stabilise as a  Premier League mid table team.

2. Will Aiyawatt and Rudkin Still Be Here?

Top: Still here (apparently), no one ever sees him and he still has worse communication skills than North Korea.

Rudkin: Somehow still around but in an “advisor role”, still getting abused by the fans.

3. Who from the Current Squad Will Still Be Here?

Ben Nelson - Has grown a massive beard and has long hair. Club captain and folklore hero at this point,

Jakub Stolarkzyk - Still the goalkeeper, Foxestalk still moans about his distribution.

Wanya Marçal - No one knows why but he did grab a brace in a League Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday.

Luke Thomas - Everyone still debating if / why he’s playing left back for us.

4. Biggest Player Sale

Louis Page, sold to Manchester United for £72 million after one ridiculous season where he got labelled the next Lampard. Foxestalk will argue we undersold, even when he goes on to Completely flop, before being loaned to West Ham, then Everton.

5. Player With Most Potential

Ben Nelson - He’ll briefly get called “the next John Stones,” then immediately two-foot someone in preseason and become a cult hero instead.

Also, Sammy Braybrooke makes a full comeback from injury and ends up as a surprise England Euro 2028 call-up.

6. Anything Else

Leicester win the Europa Conference League in 2029, beating Braga where Stephy Mavididi scores a hat-trick and then drops the trophy in the bus parade organised by Top for the Thai influencers.

The King Power Stadium expansion finishes in 2029, yes, we actually started it. A statue of Jamie Vardy is put in outside the stadium, but it’s holding a can of Red Bull instead of lifting a trophy.

The club’s official documentary series “Foxes Reborn: Again” drops on Amazon Prime.

Daniel Levy is now CEO, reporting to Top and we actually have some structure and are on the trajectory back toward being a well run club.

We’ve had three Managers, one being Sean Dyche, the other Kieran McKenna. We finally settle on Michael Carrick an he adds some balance to the club. Graham Potter has turned the job down twice.

We are adopting a 3-2-4-1 system, playing chaotic, high energy pressing football, scoring goals but leaving holes everywhere at the back. One week tonking Manchester City, the next being undone by a Russell Martin Brighton team. Some hail Carrick as a revolutionary, Foxestalk has a Carrick out topic after we get lose to Wrexham 6-5, despite the fact we beat Chelsea 3-2 the week before. People still call for the return of Nigel Pearson, as they don’t think Carrick is the man to take us forward.

Fans still go on about Jamie Vardy.

The home kit is hated by everyone on Foxestalk, however we argue it’s the closest to 15/16 we’ve had yet.

We have the King Power museum added as part of the rebuild, with a £30 entry fee and an entire floor dedicated to 15/16. Wes Morgan provides tours.

Leicester lead the xVC metric, which is expected vibe check, as the new stadium upgrades has generated a weird buzz and we are now the hipster clubs that people want to come and see.

We have an a hailed analytics team, led by 29 old former FM Player, who regularly tweets graphics to Twitter. People re-tweet but have not one iota what they actually mean. Foxestalk loves this guy.

The club advertises “Wanya Wednesday” at the new restaurant as part of the rebuild. Wanya Marcel talks about his goals in the league cup.

The Jamie Vardy book has come out and it’s a legendary read.

A random loanee from Chelsea scores a worldie on the last minute, on the last day of the 29/30 season against Nottingham Forest, relegating them back to the Championship (Now branded as Premier League 2), Foxestalk has a topic called the greatest day since 2016.

The club goes a little bit “Aldi social media” and starts trolling over clubs. Top hates it as it, however we become the most followed club on social media in the world. We potentially need to expand the stadium to 100,000 due to this. Foxestalk hates it as we don’t think we’ll retain out xVB check status is we go through with this.

The academy is now the backbone of the club and envied throughout Europe. Nelson, Monga, Braybrooke, Alves, Hutchinson, Alonko abd Evans are regular players around the first team.

Newly formed Leicester Fosse, following triple relegation of the now defunct LCFC, start playing at Viccy Park. Club is owned by fans, sponsored by local snack manufacturer.

Plans drawn up for a new small ground on car park in a place called Filbert Street. Future plans includes an expansion with a double height stand above one end, some old timers call the Spion Kop. Nobody knows why.

Managed by Mathew Gillies  grandson of a former player, coached by 97 year old Andrew King  assisted by a hologram of Alan Birchenall, now 124.

Retired italian player James Vardy (65) plays walking football, but is still league top scorer, beating Mongas record of scoring in 25 consecutive games.

I think we might do a Bolton/Coventry over the next few years and end up as low as league two. A club of our size will eventually bounce back but it’ll be all about direction and who the owner is.

Posted

1) Division and position in the league - Chasing Top's dream of the clean sweep and going for the 2nd division title

2) Will Aiyawatt and Rudkin still be here - Of course

3) Who out of the current crop of players (if any) will still be here - None

4) Our biggest player sale that will happen - Monga - £10m

5) Player with most potential  - Monga but will have left 4 years before for sod all

6) Anything else - Crowds still have 20,000 zombie clapping draws Vs the likes of Forest Green Rovers
