Just the worst timing as always.

Are they aware that for the second game running Norwich fans quite literally didn't let their leadership leave the ground to go home

Chant unacceptable, but certain people need to leave the club.

The fact the club is suggesting Jon Rudkin and top have integrity shows how clueless they are.

 

chant should never be heard again but the club need to realise why it’s got to this point.

This is the biggest issue.

Norwich statement last night made it clear mistakes had been made and that supporter frustration was understood.

This says NONE of that.

They at no point have accepted any responsibility for the absolute cesspit the club has become. the club is rotten and full of people with no accountability from TOP to bottom.

Irony of the statements is it calls on fans to share their views respectfully, which has been happening for years and absolutely nothing has changed

From us as a fan base they have really had very little discontent.

Cynic in me says this is deliberate. Stoke more anger, get the fans to sing more like this or protest in a none peaceful way. Then they get to take control of the narrative more and create more fan division.

Whilst the words to the chant shared above are unacceptable and cross a line, this response from the club is hugely embarrassing for the reasons other have said.

 

They have caused this, not the fan base.

Wow, just proves they can communicate when they want to.
I agree this particular chant over the steps the mark, however it would be nice to see a similar speedy reaction when it comes to accountability in the board room.

Why do people take things to this level ? It’s a game of football. Is it really the end of the world if the football team you support is mid table in the second division?

I just don’t get it personally. Incredible how people seem to think our owners are like chansiri or the reading ex owner all of a sudden. It’s not been great but it doesn’t deserve this level of abuse

It was inevitable. The club acknowledge nothing about our situation, the free fall, the mess, the fans frustrations, the PSR issues, nothing. The anger and frustration was always going to hit a boiling point

They’re probably fortunate it’s international break next weekend, could have seen this inciting a bigger reaction next week if we had a game. As it is, things may cool off slightly.

I’d be shocked if the club wasn’t already looking at the footage and issuing banning orders this week.

I think the statement speaks volumes for the way the club sees themselves as completely seperate and independent of the supporters. 
Supporters have been peacefully trying to have their voices heard for at least 4 years now and not a peep from anyone at the club.

The second a perceived line has been crossed they find a voice.

As for the statement from the combined supporters groups, I’d love to know who initiated that statement? And the cynic in me wonders who at the club prompted who in which supporters groups to make the statement.
