People want Top out, if there was a racial aspect it wouldn’t have taken 14 years to manifest.

 

Anyway he does **** off home for weeks at a time - he’s supposed to be more involved than ever!

You say that, but you could argue that comments like that now creeping into the mainstream have led to some quarters of the population to say things like this more openly.

 

Maybe it was sang in exactly the way that you are probably the majority on here are saying, but with all of the above considered, I don’t think it’s in great taste.

I don't agree with it, but my family are all teachers, nurses and police officers so I tend to have a degree of realism about it, especially when the threats are obviously empty. No, I don't lose sleep about that, not when it's been directed at me and not when it's directed at anyone else close to me. Perhaps I should.

 

But I don't like being on the receiving end of nasty abuse too much, so I'd never join in with that particular chant, and don't condone it either. But it is precisely the sort of thing I'd expect if I was a football club owner who'd been widely accused of incompetence. And, while the wording feels a bit dark and sinister side to my ear, I think you'd be very daft to take it literally.

 

I mean, for many of us our favourite ever manager - while employed by Top and his family - literally yelled 'f*** off and die' in the general direction of a section of the support once. I don't recall them chastising him, and neither did I feel that they should. Of course, I'm conscious that responding to abuse is very different to instigating it, that there's a difference between it coming from one highly-pressured individual and it coming from a mob of them, and also that Nige's intention that night was probably to direct his comments towards a handful of individuals, rather than a few hundred. But thankfully most of us didn't take the manager at his word when he was apparently wishing death on people that day, and I'm not sure we should now.

 

I honestly think it's all a bit pathetic. On the one hand, because we can't articulate our opposition to the board in a more unified and persuasive way, and on the other because the club's feathers have been so ruffled by this. Maybe I'm missing something, and things got worse than what I've read on. If not, they really should concentrate on doing their jobs properly rather that petty, divisive statements like that one.

Not an acceptable chant, and actually I agree with the statement (and the club have a duty of care to their employees, even senior ones) - I seriously doubt anyone at the club goes to work to do a bad job.  Or that they are not trying.  They are doing their best; it's just their best is not enough for where we find ourselves, and is at least part of the reason we got here.  It's not Rudkin's fault he is not the man to fix things and turn the club around - it is up to the CEO/Chairman to see that and take action.

If this is the case, up to and including Rudkin, it just shows what a vile person Aiyawatt is to use these people as shield for his own incompetence and leaving them hanging out to dry.

Theres a line as fans you dont cross.

You would like to think most opposition  fans wont do helicopter actions to us, or fans sing about Hillsborough/ Heysel to Scousers or about Munich to United fans.

Likewise death to sporting Directors.

 

Rudkins a cvnt is fine, as he probably is.

Death to him, well if you sing that, you should probably  have a think about what's Important  in life to you.

It feels like it’s about to get really toxic and it’s about time. We need a full breakdown in relations between those running the club and the fans. 
 

I think this will help get some of the fence sitters on the KP out side. 
 

Echo the earlier post of there’s nothing wrong with ‘Sell the club and f**k off home’. 
 

The chant is clearly wrong but people are angry and when long term passiveness turns into anger in a short space of time it’s never a pleasant outcome.

The difference is, Top spends most of his time in Thailand and when he is in this country, he's mostly living the London playboy lifestyle. 

 

Saying, 'fvck off home' to an economic migrant or an asylum seeker sends the explicit message that they're not welcome in this country and should return to their suffering.

 

With Top, it's more, 'if you don't care about the club anymore because it seemingly gets in the way of your lifestyle, go. We won't miss you.'

Awwww did our fans hurt the little rich kids feelings 😭 

 

Shows at least that they're hearing it so really time to push on with these chants at every opportunity
