Someone close to me plays golf with his son, put it this way he doesn't have a ''job'' just plays golf everyday either here or abroad - son said he has PP officers at matches and has had a few incidents happen at his home address.

Doesn't sound like working with dedication and integrity every day!

It was posted in the atmosphere thread yesterday

*chant removed*

I know we all want Rudkin out but a chant like that is below the belt, whether tongue in cheek or not.

Anybody that refers to other fans that spend good money on tickets and travelling as 'happy clappers', is part of the problem.

Happy clappers are the ones blinded by what’s going on and are just happy to show up and clap the players/club as if nothing wrong is going on. They hate when anyone kicks up a fuss, out of pure frustration, about what’s happening and where we’re going as a club.

They'd have been better off saying nothing.

Not that I'd be in favour of that specific chant but if they do nothing about Rudkin they will only lose more fans.

Drawing attention to this is not a wise move

The pearl clutchers in this thread defending Rudkin over some hurty words is hilarious.

He deserves it and I hope it gets worse for him. You have to make it uncomfortable for leeches like him, otherwise they won't feel it.

The Foxes Trust have done some much better stuff this season.

@Foxes_Trust I hope to see a statement in response to this one this morning, just like you have done all season on other issues.

Simple, acknowledge that particular chant crossed the line (but point out it was a couple of individuals), then go in to asking why there was no acknowledgement of frustrations and also why this is the first time the club has been heard from in years.

They have released a statement

I think they are asking for a statement about the statement addressing the lack of previous statements, but I might be wrong.

Assume you mean the son doesn't have a job?

This is what I was getting at on the first page. If you're someone from Leicester, who has been at this club all your working life, and you cared about the success of the club, then just walk away surely? Bags and bags of money, no need to work again, probably do alright in the corporate circuit telling stories about the title win and champions league nights....

Why would you put yourself through needing PP or having incidents at your house?

Yes his son hasn’t. I think he plays off +3 so he’s not far off pro

Sad that's it gotten to the point he needs security officers. But at what point do the club take responsibility and move him out of the limelight into a different role? All well and good writing snotty statements and doing nothing about it

Agreed

Disgusting chant that crossed the line, but what do you expect from d1ckheads that also chanted 'football in a library' during the minutes silence, some of lcfc fans really are the lowest of the low

But they are dead ‘ard. .

Pathetic disgusting chants against Ruskin and Top. Rightfully called out and those moaning about the club statement are equally as moronic.

I'm moronic for thinking that statement could have included the sentence "we completely understand fans frustration at our current trajectory as a football club, however chanting of this nature is not the way to go about expressing those feelings"?????

No. The moronic comment was aimed at those moaning about a statement full stop. It’s right call this out, would have no issue with them recognising things have not been done well but perhaps that’s for another time.

Actually, I think that's Cromer beach in Norfolk

It is, but you can forgive the Coventry fan who owns that page for forgetting what Brighton beach looks like.

So instead of this chant staying as something confined to just a few supporters at the back of the away end and a handful of people who saw the original post on here

The club have managed to Streisand effect it straight into the wider fanbase’s consciousness and beyond.

I refuse to believe a supposed “communications expert” could genuinely be this thick, so my money’s on the order coming from above him.

While I understand the need for this statement, this would’ve been the perfect time to flag other statements which the club have ignored. Have they given any sort of response to the statement a month ago on the sponsorship choice ?
