Probably not the news most would have wanted, but at least Top recognises something isn’t working and has taken action. Will it work? Is it enough? Nobody knows and I guess will depend on the appointments, but hopefully a step in the right direction.

Bit weird this isn't it.

 

Good news - Rudkin presumably having less direct control over transfers/scouting, new technical director coming in.

Bad news - Rudkin being promoted further up Aiyawatt's arse and Aiyawatt is appointing the Technical director.

Mixed feelings for sure.

Day to day can mean many things from admin/business role to influential in football matters.

Probably, but influence instead of overall control is very different. It's a huge positive

Could easily be a role where he’s on the payroll due to loyalty Top likes to show but really doesn’t do much.
