Corbee Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 Not going tonight as can't see Marti making any changes or having any fresh ideas. Think it'll be 1-1 draw but that's me being hopeful. Will be going Sheffield United on New Year's Day so my lad can tick off another ground but I have even less confidence re that fixture. Need fresh ideas and squad rotation. 1
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 Thankfully I'm working tonight downside is a Derby fan is working with me today (I think) 🤔 oooh eck

Then it all paves way for the incredible Silko Thomas to come on at 68 1/2 minutes to save the day. 2 4

All it takes is to check his loan spell at Wigan and yet Marti just keeps chucking him on. Bizzare. 3

Mickyblueeyes Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 I’ve given up on this season and to be honest the club under KP. I can’t believe I’m saying this but I am genuinely intrigued by how long the clapping seals will last after a few hefty defeats. Like imagine if we lost this 4-0. Sheff U 3-0. And then West Brom 3-0. Would they stand there clapping at the end of West Brom ? I know I would be pissed if those 3 results happened but you’ve got to get your kicks somehow. I think they would.

Pliskin Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 Derby will win this. Start the game like they did their second half and they ease it.
Richmondfox Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 Same dross from this manager. It doesn’t matter who they play if the tempo is slow and the passes side to side and backwards. Same tactics and mistakes. Same Thomas long throw to the first defender at head height. Boring, no overlaps and passing into space. 2

AjcW Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 Eustace is a clever, pragmatic manager, they've played well since our 45 minute battering and I imagine that will continue tonight. They've also played 4 different systems since then, to match opposition strengths. A draw at best.
PhillippaT Posted 29 December 2025 Posted 29 December 2025 (edited) Considering we're leaking more goals than my milk atm... (Seriously - the last 4 (plastic) bottles of milk I've bought have all been leaking after I take them out of my bag (EDIT: I even changed the pocket I put it in today, but nope ) Edited 29 December 2025 by PhillippaT
