Superb. Straight out with the nonsense. Abdul saved them tonight because, as usual, they contributed fvck all to anything.

Tinpot Army out in force.

Match attendance is usually calculated as ALL season tickets + membership and general sale tickets sold, is it not?

So if you're a ST holder, doesn't matter if you attended or not, for the purpose of recorded figures.

Yeh that's it I think - it's why the term attendance is stupid.

They should call it 'seats sold' (not 'tickets sold' as our shysters would probably count resale tickets alongside the original st)

"We are ordinary"

I bet this person has a really average, mundane job, a boring partner and never likes to challenge themselves. Imagine if leaders like Churchill (not the dog) had this attitude. Ah nevermind, we weren't meant to win this war anyway.

Spot on. The twisting of the language goes to show what is really valued - £££, not the number of fans who come out to watch their team. If a billionaire bought every ticket and then stayed at home leaving an empty stadium, that would be absolutely fine.

I heard that is the case but they need to rename it “Sold seats” in that case. If they look up the meaning of attendance, it involves “attending” ie being present. They can get that from the data from the turnstiles. This is the club who email non-attending season ticket holders with a survey regarding their reason, so they do have this data available to them.

... if people would rather watch "Corriedale" surely that proves the point of the boycott? something needs to change in the way the club is run because currently it's just rotting in it's deathbed

But also the visual affect was a success. As well as the Sky commentary exposure

Spot on.

As I posted earlier this was what IMO we needed to happen, and I'm glad it did.

If I'm honest the lack of supporters in the ground was more than I expected (for whatever the individuals reason for not attending ) and Sky's comments certainly helped the overall Boycott narative.

Displaying the Stats on screen also helped prove what an abhorrent performance it was in reality, and if not for Jakob's performance and Abdul's out of the blue and totally against the run of play Worldie  we loose that game. So nothing changes for me.

Nothing from Marti's stand point will change he will continue as our manager and his approach will remain as is,  but our next run of matches against superior opposition to WBA sadly will expose and confirm just how poor he is as a manager and how poor a team we are under his management, so whilst today's sh1thouse win continues to paper over our very own San Andreas fault it won't last and he will be found out.

But will the club do anything is a different kettle of fish.

Was the boycott successful, hard to say if I'm honest  as The Year Of The Fox said visually it was and Sky helped,  but  if not for a sh1thouse win I'd probably swing towards saying yes. But only just as the win certainly blunted the message.

(Don't get me wrong, I never want to see us loose, hence I still feel the need for a wholesale change is still required and without it we truly won't heal as a club and start to move forward)

Plus they will add on free tickets. That could be anything from a hundred to several thousand, wether they attended or not

I liked how you qualified Churchill, nice and helpfully for those who don't know who he is!

Two thoughts on the farcical “attendance” figure, is this “tickets sold” method used by all / any other clubs?

Secondly can those fan panels who have some dialogue with the club ask for clarification and ask for a true total of attendees to be announced instead of or alongside the irrelevant “Tickets sold” figure.

This is true - it’ll be for all tickets purchased.

People aren’t that stupid though. It was quite clear to see that it wasn’t a 27k attendance.

I’m sure there will be an email/survey going out asking why people didn’t attend.

Seen Pipes say there was only 12.5k there.

This should be all the motivation people need to boycott the next home match as well.

The equivalent of sticking newspapers on the dressing room wall.

It'll hurt their pockets lack of beer, food sales etc whether people have already got season tickets or not. Won't go unnoticed and won't be the last boycott I'm sure

Everything that is wrong, right here.

We could of just lost to aldershot in the national league and they would say.

Well it is what it is, little old leicester back where we belong, I have actually really enjoyed the tour of the national league and seeing places like Braintree, Wealdstone and Tamworth (even got a little trip to the snowdome after, you cant say that at The Emirates can you)

And lets face it, a close 2-1 loss at home to play off chasing Aldershot is not to be sniffed at, just shows you the qualify of the league if anything.

Ground only looked half full but officially it was a sell out, who am I to question King Power though after all theyve done, got me a doughnut and everything.

Up the foxes.
