Sting Posted 18 January Posted 18 January I really can't see Jordan signing for us on a permanent deal. He clearly will have a lot more options than a mid table championship club in disarray that are continually plagued with problems on and off the pitch. He can and will, do much better than us next season which really shows how far Top has let our club slide. Heartbreaking really. 1

I don’t think we can sign him and sell on immediately for a profit in the same window but I can see it happening later in the season. Unless of course Leicester do challenge again but that won’t happen without investment in players infrastructure and better decision making

He’s got a box and his family come to every home game. Can’t think of many other than Vardy who have done the same. Obviously might be out of his control but I think he likes it here. 3

KDH was a Premier league player for 2 seasons with us anyway? We knew he was good enough for the Prem. Ive no doubt whatsoever that Jordan James could step up to the Prem. But id be amazed if it werent for one of the teams that have been promoted. He isnt getting in Villas team

It’s an option, not an obligation. It purely means we could say we want to sign at a pre-agreed price (so Rennes couldn’t put the fee up based on his performances this season). The player still has to agree and other clubs could still come in for him. We have little power here so why would he stay here?

I’m not holding my breath though. Hopefully we will still be in the championship but maybe not if we continue to play like we did at Wrexham.

It doesn't mean he's joining us as its not an obligation.
