Whilst I think today was one of Ricardo’s better performances this season, I do feel that this squad is crying out for two athletic, forward thinking full backs more than anything. It would give us so many more options tactically than we have at the moment.

Aluko is capable of that

The reason we have Thomas as our main LB is because our manager decides to make him our main LB.  That decision is on the manager. We have other choices, as you well know.  I imagine playing Aluko would pay dividends if he were trusted with a brief run of matches to get up to the level.

This the same Aluko who didn't even last half an hour on his debut?

Lot of anger about this result, and rightly so, but the fault lies with a hierarchy who gutted the squad in the summer and thought (wrongly) that kids could step up to replace them.

Still waiting for evidence that ANY of Jon Rudkin's academy products are good enough to wear the shirt.

Yeah I agree never play Aluko again because he had a bad debut

‘Mind the Gap Leicester City’

I didn’t think they could beat their usual inbred chants for stupidity but this is next level.

What gap are they referring to?!

7 major trophies to 1?

Us having more top flight football?

Us having more European football?

Us being more known and relevant?

Not to mention us winning this league 8 times to their 1.

Bigger historical attendances to add another. We beat them on every metric for all the usual parameters.

This is probably the best a 40 year old Coventry fan has ever had it so I guess they are going to get a bit giddy.

It feels like we have thrown away a lot of games this season, so it made me go back on this season check games where we were leading to my shock I seen 6 wins 4 draws and no defeats before today with a half time lead. I think it's those 4 draws Wrexham, Boro, Portsmouth and Bristol City being so bad, make it feel like it happens every time we are leading.

One of this big differences were these 2 substitutions:

Them - Wright for Simms

Us - Daka for Ayew

Up until that point I felt that we were two relatively evenly matched (dreadful at times) teams. The lack of balls that this manager has is staggering. Every single thing is so predictable and that adds to this overwhelming frustration.

I also feel that they have a current fan base that have no idea of their history, no idea who plays for them but are simply jumping on the ‘lampard revolution’ band wagon. Some utterly vile creatures out there today.

Same as every other week.

We're the better team. We lack any killer instinct. The opposition realise we're entirely beatable, make some sort of minor change and then batter us.

The centre backs look amateurish every week, but where's the protection?!

We are so naive. So beatable. So pathetic.

How many more times will this happen this season. We should change the name of the club from City to  Leicester capitulation. Sick of it!

One of the best 45 mins of season 1st half. Should have got a 2nd. As per usual lack of a finisher matched with a weak defence that lets crosses in for fun sealed our fate 2nd half.

How many times can u say same thing every week?

Unlucky today. Same as the previous game as if you could shoot better you would have been out of sight at HT. I really enjoyed the game, even the 1st half.

What you did to us in the 1st half is what we normally do to others. Very high intensity and we couldn't live with it. The problem is keeping up with the intensity. Our players are the fittest I've ever known for us and we still needed to make changes half way through the second half to keep it up. Luckily our players are coming back from injury and our 2 new players have added to our midfield. Your players must have been knackered after the 1st half.

Good luck for the rest of the season and I hope something can be done about the way you're run.

Only being one up at half time was only ending one way for us and we all knew it lol

I understand the Ricardo comment absolutely. Do you think its the systwm as he is made to press higher and slot into midfield?

I think the system as it was a similar story under Maresca when we were exposed regularly down our right side. There’s a reason our best ever sides have had defences like Simpson, Morgan, Huth and Fuchs and Elliott, Taggart, Walsh etc before. It doesn’t matter what fancy tactics you are playing the other end. If you conceded 2 per game because your defenders can’t defend,

you aren’t achieving anything….

Spot on. Aluko, not Hamza, should be rotating with Ricardo.

Left back is a major problem. Thomas is not good enough.

Good save?? Was a scuffed shot and it was going in even if wright hadn't of touched it.

It think Thomas is at fault but jakub should be saving that

He did save it. He pushed it wide and the attackers got to it.

We would also need a manager to understand that a fullback can cross the halfway line and the winger is allowed to play a 1-2.

I really don't know what they do all week in training.  As always JJ does the hard work, gets in a position where Fatawu just has to run forwards into space but he stands still, the same with Thomas who constantly passes behind the winger and the only support he offers is to send it backwards.  Even in the dying seconds he got the ball and plenty of time to criss, he passes backwards to someone else.

Ayew was everywhere apart from close to the goal.  This team likes to overplay and under think yet our goal came from quick forward passes and running into space.

LT at fault for both goals

Nelson at fault for first, he's marking Simms. LT is on the goaline.

It was going in without wright touching it.

I’ve watched the last replay on the sky sports highlights. I think that’s going wide.
