Should have been 2 up at the break. As soon as we weren't you just knew what was coming. The fact that in the last 21 games only Sheff Wed have conceded more than us is truly shocking. Defensively we are utterly terrible. The keeper is nervy and error prone, Ricky P's legs have gone, Thomas is the worst LB in the league, and we don't have one dominant, physical CB. Just counting down the games until the end of this horrible season.

So bang average squad but that first half was very good, so make up your mind? If we're capable of playing like that away at Cov it isn't because we have a bang average squad

He lost it - quick to flash the yellow cards at us, but what about the foul by their sub on JM as he turned and was free to run down our left at the edge of their box? A definite yellow and a great opportunity denied. 
Ref did well with their 2 penalty shouts though

Marti continuing to play players who should have been dropped ages ago.

 

Thomas is abysmal. Okoli is just a lump but not a very good one.

 

Fatawu continues to not pass the ball when he should do.

 

A better manager gets more of a tune out of this lot. That's a certainty

Giving Thomas the full 90 minutes and Ayew 75 or so just devalues the badge and shirt even further - and they’ll start next week too.

1-0 up and we ****ed it up. All too familiar a story. For a manager who says he’d always go for a second goal, he sure does like to (very poorly) defend a 1-0 lead. Never quite get it when managers say one thing and appear to do the opposite.

 

So obvious they’d come out second half. Only message at HT is keep it tight and no silly mistakes to take the sting out of it. All out the window after 2mins then it’s inevitable we crumble.

 

Frustrating really as we played some great stuff first half.

Well here’s the twist, even if we was 3 nil we would have lost 4.3 this is what this team does this is what this manger does!!!! We all knew what was coming

Could only watch the first half, but it was all do predictable of what was going to happen. Very good first half.

Lack of fitness again? Or just lack of game management. Again throwing away a good position with a early second half goal, much like at Bristol City.

Yeah so the players aren't bang average are they if they're capable of that? But if that first half is all on Marti then so was the second half. What excuses have you got for Marti not making any subs whilst Cov were proactively trying to change the game

Wow our defending in the box again is so so weak! Luke Thomas can be pushed onto his ass like that. Shocking lack of ability to clear bouncing balls. We teach this to teenagers ffs these are big strong experienced pros and they can do this? Not good to lose like this to Cov. Major inquisition needing at the training ground on what is happening in the half time team talk and 2nd half player performance whether it’s mental or physical fatigue or both!

This season is for consolidation. We won't go down and might make playoffs. But would we really want to go up just to come straight back down. Let's finish the season clear the deadwood and get clear of PSR. Get a few more players in and go again next season.
