- Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, upon Leicester’s relegation to League One, 2026

'We' budget for automatic promotion'' said Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha bemused by Leicester 23rd place finish

He went on 'We budget for top 2 but ended in the bottom 2'

On the bright side, the away games in League One were brilliant. My favourite season (other than 15/16)

I enjoyed league 1 massivly. Took big numbers everywhere. Away atmosphere was great. Leyton Orient and Cheltenham being up there for my favourites. Went to right s**tholes like Oldham and Stockport but we enjoyed it. Doesnt mean i want to do it again though.

People are forgetting that last time in league 1 we had a competent owner, an incredible manager with a true vision and likeable players. If we go down we'd likely have none of them.

It will be shit.

And it was an enjoyable experience because it was, and should always be, a one-off.

Thread should be locked, 6 pages of pure reactionary fear.

We're not going to League 1, wind your necks in lol

I'm saying this btw as one of the most critical members on this forum. So it says a lot for me not to be a debbie downer.

If these new loanees don't shake things up we are 100% going down.

And this time it could be a Forest style extended run down there. I'd think about that before hoping to see the bright side of a novelty away day.

Lost back to back games against 2 of our relegation rivals

Not a single game I can look at and say we are guaranteed points (not even Sheff Wed we are that shite at the moment)

League One tour next season!

What have you seen to suggest we're safe?

We're not competing in home games against other relegation threatened teams, we haven't kept a clean sheet for 6 months, we have a squad who aren't interested and we don't have a manager.

Totally agree

Cifuentes has just been sacked. We're still under caregiving duties.

Okoli was red carded in the first 15 minutes of Andy King's first ever managerial role in his career.

The rest of our matches will be 11 v 11, I'm not scared of any other team.

Lads just need to turn up on the day and do the job, nothing more nothing less.

The hysteria and panic just plays into the hands of KPFC fans who accuse us of always looking downwards.

We will reasses the situation after the Birmingham game, enjoying a delightful win.

Your point about okoli seems to be that aside from this, we're fine, when in fact we've been terrible for months.

Okoli's sending off was just another dumb thing we did among the catalogue of dumb things that we do in every game.

Let’s not beat about the bush. If this squad gets relegated with players on 90/80/75K a week etc then they should never play professional football again.

They should be paraded through the streets and prodded with sticks.

In my first sentence I said we've just got rid of the manager, so this is a new journey free from the shackles of Marti Cifuentes.

Only need to look at Michael Carrick to see how a competent manager automatically will change your fortunes.

Can’t believe the arrogant, head in the sands attitude from those saying we are too good to go down! Seriously, what have you been watching all season? We were a one man team (James) and he’s out for who knows how long.

Cifuentes was crap but nobody we will get in is going to improve us enough to keep us up from here with the squad we have an the incompetent owner/board.
