Felt for Scotty James in the men's half pipe. Dominated the sport for the past few years and missed out again (4th Olympics) 

 

His documentary on Netflix is worth a watch to.

Why isnt snow shoveling a sport? Based on speed, form and artistry.  Could have a few categories for men and women

 

-1 foot deep shovel, 8 car driveway

-6 inch deep men's shovel, 8 car driveway

-3 feet wide by 3 feet high windrow clearing 

-mixed pairs in categories above

-repeat above but with 1 stage, 2 stage snow blowers

The snowboarding cross, or whatever it is called has to my favourite thing in the winter Olympics.

 

I find the freestyle a bit boring. Every trick looks the same and it relies on judges scoring, which can always be a bit iffy.

 

Finally a gold for us here in Canada, in another event I'm not a fan of, moguls, but good for us!

I think it's the costume...Pleased that Femke Kok won. Very relaxing the long track in comparison to the short track.
