Nothing to do with money/cost. You're missing the point.

It's about personal investment in the club you support, not financial investment. It's about still being passionate and proud to wear something with our name on it, (not Top's name). To be told it's wrong to be purchasing club merchandise is just wrong. In the process of purchasing, I'd rather it support the club financially than not, but as I say, it's not about money, it's about being criticised and frowned upon for wearing the club name and colours.

YOUR football club with the badge on it is being ran into the ground by full blown idiots. We’re all passionate about LCFC, hence the debate on a Leicester City football forum. I don’t blame anyone for buying things for kids from the club shop, that is totally up to you. But personally for me, now is not the time to be promoting this club to anybody until this ownership is gone. Top hasn’t put any money into our club for YEARS. I assume you will be someone that will shake his hand given the chance.

The clubs being run into ground but yes let’s be angry and mock the ones who voice their opinion. Oh and if we’re playing the “I’ve been going to Leicester since xyz” game, my grandads been going since 1960 and even he agrees that the club have been run poorly and we need a change so I don’t get what you’re point actually is.

Why do all these KPFC lot keep quoting when they started supporting the club. Every single one. No one gives a shit mate.

They’re like Yank ex servicemen telling someone they met for the first time. ‘Ex Marine Corps’

Makes them feel important

It’s not necessarily about wearing Leicester merch but right now we’re demanding some form of change from the board and people are protesting peacefully via their wallets. I have a kid too who I know would be asking for merch so I get your point and understand it but on the whole I wouldn’t even be buying food and drink from that ground until our “glorious” owner takes decisive action.

If instead you’re going into that club shop to by a shirt with Winks on the back, then you’re fully deserving of all the abuse 😂

I’ve been going since the 90s (sorry I wasn’t born earlier), but this “be careful what you wish for” mentality I’m afraid you’re going to have to explain the positives of this club right now for me to think you’re talking absolute nonsense. Every facet of the footballing world understand our situation and recognise this is on the ownership but what could possibly be worse then being on the brink of going Pop, playing diabolical football and being in the lowest position we’ve ever been for the second time in our history.

Top is “being told to do one” because all of these issues stem from his running of the club, if he’s serious about rebuilding his relationship with the fans and turning things around then he had a quick win in sacking Rudkin - instead he promotes him… so what are the fans meant to think? All points to clueless decisions and extremely poor management on his behalf. Him losing millions is on him I’m afraid, it’s the least of my concerns when the club is on the brink of oblivion.

You must be the guy I’m referring to in the KP Out thread based on your first name

What do you mean what the f**king hell is that?  It’s obviously a plane banner telling our Imperious Leaders to leave and demonstrating that a lot aren’t happy with the current ownership.

What the hell is the clapping for?

Wrong. I want him gone! However, now more than ever I want people to know I support Leicester, as I have done since '74. To pretend we don't exist until we're good again adds weight to those who think our support is made up of 2016 bandwaggon jumpers. The club is bigger than Top  Rudkin, you and I.

I can't believe that some on this forum actually want to see the club go bust. I'm all for the peaceful protests, but it's still the club I support and have done for longer than I care to remember.

To criticise fans for going in the club shop tonight is a difficult one for me. If that's seen as supporting Top and therefore inappropriate, I can't agree.

My grandson wanting a bar scarf, like I had at his age, (and still have). I'm not explaining no to him. Let me know now if I'm going to be abused next season for being seen in the new shirt, so I can prepare myself. I want THIS club, not some tin pot phoenix club. Nah, too far!

No one is going to be abuse you for buying the new shirt, a lot of people just don't understand why fans rush out and buy the new one every year. The quality will be crap, the sponsor will be bordering on illegal again, it will be yet another generic design, incredibly overpriced as always and will represent one of our lowest points in history.

Completely understand that fans want to wear a shirt to the game but could you not wear a retro shirt from the 90's for instance? Great shirts, great teams, local sponsor. Surely you'll have more pride wearing that paying £80 for the honour of advertising BC Game?

If you have supported the club since 74 then you must be fond of gardening so try this. If you had some Japanese Knotwood growing in your garden, would you prune it each year and douse it in fertiliser or would you try and remove it by the root? Putting money into their pockets is giving them a big thumbs up to carry on this $hitte$t of $hit shows.

You're missing my original point. I was arguing against the fact that I was being told it was wrong to be in the club shop last night.

its to make them feel important and righteous but tbh I've got a feeling that some of these kpfc types are bullsh1tters, I think some (not all) turned up around 2015 and they are not normal football types their the type who listen to the archers on the radio and watch the tigers and they don't like any passion or aggression and they think that clapping anything that their shown and buying ridiculous amounts of merch makes them more of a fan than anyone else
