They've only got a poor recent history against us and even that is separated by a good decade.

Early 00's we never seemed to beat them. Flashbacks to the 6-1 at their place. I recall being at home when Bent scored for them about 10 seconds in as well.

I can't see us beating them tomorrow, however much we'd all love a win.

We won't because this is Leicester.

The "Anybody can beat Anybody on their day" doesn't apply to us because we no matter how much an off day the opposition may have we will still out shit them

What’s the point of the thread? Everyone wants that but it just won’t happen as we all know.

I know i just wanted to feel a little positivity at a really trying time.

No they haven't. They played well for Rowett in two away games and then badly in one home game. While the optimism that followed the two draws was clearly overdone, the pessimism following the home loss (against the Championship's best side this year) has also been overdone. There will be more good games and more bad games, and more sharp mood swings among the fan base, before the season ends.

A balanced sensible view.

We have a 50/50 ish chance of staying up.

If we do it will be interesting to see what the club do next year after Rudkins, statement this week.Looks like KP are not selling.

More good games?  We haven't won for two calendar months.  We haven't kept a clean sheet since September.

We haven't but this is an away game against a team bang average right now. A team we beat 3.1 in December.

It's no coincidence that our worst run of the season has come during Jordan James's absence. After the 1-1 draw with Wrexham we were 14th (and even taking off six points for the later PSR deduction we'd have been 17th). His return is a major positive.

Rowett will get us clean sheets. Maybe not tomorrow, but probably in one of the two home games after that. It's what he does. I'm not saying we'll definitely stay up—just that relegation is not inevitable, as some have suggested. Rowett's time in charge of us won't be defined solely by last week's loss against the current best side in the division, no matter how demoralising as it was.

Like many posts on here they're pretty pointless as we will be tomorrow.

If we do it's the same way Tottenham seem to only get good results which help Arsenal but back them up by losing to everyone else, giving themselves the worst case scenario. That's what we're doing with Coventry.

Didn't believe i would ever have any sympathy for the Spuds but there plight seems akin to ours and it's hard work right now. But you know what they say about the darkest hour before dawn.

Are Ipswich bang average right now? They have only lost one home game all season and that was 5 months ago. They've lost 2 in 10.

I like your optimism, but for me I think they’ve given up.

Literally this, Ipswich are back challenging for automatic promotion and will not giving us an easy ride, they like us are a recent premier League team but unlike us, actually having a fighting chance of regaining their place.  We have very little chance of winning this, especially away, on the other hand there is every chance we'll get a good spanking!

PS also I think we'll be targeting the next two games more than this one, so I don't think we'll be taking a lot of risks player wise. JJ might get some time, but it'll be more important he's ready to go on Tuesday/next Saturday.
