My point being I've managed to make a decent living despite making the odd faux pas on a football forum with my spelling now and again...

Maybe it's true, but in stressing it so frequently you don't half sow some seeds of doubt. Nobody else does it

Would love to have met George Best , one of the world's greatest ever players and Roger Moore, the best 007 by far.

Those alive would include David Jason, Michael Caine, Sophia Loren and George Lazenby.

My absolute legend of our time has got to be Bill Hicks.

You have exquisite taste.

I went to watch see him at Leicester University in the early 90's.

A real mix of comedy genius and preacher

He's been dead a while but Tony Benn

Mixed views on him

Was mainly an absolute disaster in office and backed all sorts of ridiculous businesses for investment…. Too regularly he didn’t see governance as a team sport.

Clearly he’s a highly principled man, but was dogmatic and too often found playing to his gallery.

Give me an Attlee or a Callaghan any day of the week

Poor taste. Economy grows in spite of that *****

NHS waiting lists fell, boat crossings fell and fastest growth in the g7 despite them to. Outrageous luck how these things all happened about 18 months after policy changes occurred.

I’d quite like to see what she can do with the economy without relentless illegal tariffs or wars causing global economic chaos thanks to the Oval Office Orange Nonce.

Anyone would think they were good policy changes....

Why do I feel poor though?

Issue of the last 40 years. Proceeds of growth are all going to investors and CEOs, not being shared by workers. Fault lies with Thatcher and Reagan.
