StonyFox Posted 22 April Posted 22 April They are not going to have a clue who to appoint. This is going to take months. Bournemouth already have their new manager even before Iraola has left, but despite relegation being a possibility for months I bet they don't even have a shortlist of potential managers 1

If Nigels Health is not up to it he could be used as a Consultant finding the right people to fill the key positions. What Nigels done for us wasn't luck, it was know how. And that's exactly what we need right now. Is someone who has seen and done it all before. 7 1
TeamRocket Posted 22 April Posted 22 April I would give NP the CFO roll, get him to find the next Director of Football, manger, backroom staff and even a new owner. 1 1

He still loves our club despite the appalling way he was treated. I get that you might think that he wouldn't work for your owners again, but he has now worked for the Lansdowns, so they may not now seem so bad. I haven't seen him since. I don't know exactly what his plans are now (though we do have a mutual friend that sees him regularly). But I wouldn't be surprised, if there were two clubs he would like to manage again, they would be us under different ownership, and maybe.... Edited 22 April by Superjack 8 1
STUHILL Posted 22 April Posted 22 April It would be nice to have a Manager we like again, so Big Nige would give us that boost at least. I get why people prefer to roll the dice and have a new face with seemingly endless possibilities, but do we really trust Top and Rudkin to get that appointment right? If Nigel is healthy and motivated, I think he would be a good choice for us in League 1, and at very least, start setting standards for our players again. He would have made Winks pee himself this season after a well deserved rollicking at half-time. 4
DesertFox Posted 22 April Posted 22 April He's been on holiday, but it's time to bring him home. Player/manager: Jamie Vardy
Fish Posted 22 April Posted 22 April Anyone who will play 442. Attack play forward ffs. Didtch this boring shite football and entertain.👍 1

It literally all needs to go back to basics This feels so obvious it is maddening. As fans we don't know what goes on behind closed doors and those people could all be bellends or thick as two planks, but surely there's a role they could be playing (other than in the cringe video before games and nostalgia panels).
Filberts lovechild Posted 22 April Posted 22 April Biggest question is do we have the people at the top with the mettle to deal with this early, get moving now and work all summer to put things right? Do we balls. Biggest humiliation will be when we sell our training ground to Forest 1
murphy Posted 22 April Posted 22 April I don't want to see any legends tainted by coming in to this circus. Not NFP, not Fuchs. In the case of NFP it wouldn't work anyway. His was a right time and place appointment. He has done precious little since and has had poor health. Always a legend but let's look to the future and leave his legacy intact.
Wsl Posted 22 April Posted 22 April Apparently McCarron was in the ground last night. I didn’t think he’d stick around. Pretty sure this wasn’t what he was promised in interview….

Always a legend but let's look to the future and leave his legacy intact. I have a friend who is a Bristol City fan and they all absolutely love him. Did a good job at Watford as well On 19 July 2020, Pearson was sacked with two games remaining in the 2019–20 season. Watford were seven points adrift at the bottom of the league when Pearson took charge, and three points above the relegation zone when he was sacked.[93][94] Following Pearson's sacking, Watford went on to lose their remaining two games and were relegated. 3

Leicesterpool Posted 22 April Posted 22 April With likely to use the youth more Lee Carsley would get my vote, but would he leave England under 21s to manage us.. probably not.

foxsake Posted 22 April Posted 22 April Having Playergrave, I mean Seagrave in L1 is utterly absurd. Perhaps it will become an abandoned curiosity like Noel Edmonds' ill-fated theme park BlobbyLand.

The women’s team will move there and parts of it may be mothballed while we’re in L1 to cut down on running costs. Belvoir Drive will be up for sale. 2
Number 6 Posted 22 April Posted 22 April If Nigel wanted it, I think we could do a lot worse. He'd arrest the slide. Could look to move him into a DOF role in a couple of years. I think the replacement needs to be that kind of character at the very least.

LcFc_Smiv Posted 22 April Posted 22 April I think, depressingly, our manager search will rely heavily on what Brum do. Martin has been at a few of their games, there's noise Davies will leave at the EoS. I reckon we end up with one of the two.
