Pointless having a new Sporting Director if everything he does has to be signed off by Rudkin authority

 

And I doubt he’d leave CFG for a position where Rudkin has the final say, obviously time will tell but it would literally make no sense otherwise having McCarron.

 

Rudkin will hopefully be too busy floating around overseeing not just the men’s but also the women’s and Leuven side, he’ll be the overseer as far as see it, not the driver

A reason could be they thought it would be enough to quieten the fans.

Im hoping the new role for him will essentially be a between point for the commercial and footballing side, judging by the comments of a disconnect there previously, maybe it will just be trying to marry up what Davies says with what McCarron wants I.e communicating budgets and realistic wage points for new signings. Sure it’s been said before, we will know by mid-June

Yep the way I see it currently is that Rudkin is the owner of LCFC. Top has literally given him the reigns to the club and is letting him do most things LCFC related. Top doesn’t have the brains to do anything and is hardly there. It’s a sad state of affairs because the hatred between the fans and Rudkin is at its highest point.

Leaving Rudkin have the reigns only goes to show Tops total lack of interest in the club.... only shows up to keep face

Not only does this having to go through Rudkin undermine his authority to act but it adds to the timescale of decision making. 

 

I'm convinced it was done by Top to placate the anti Rudkin fans but he's way off with his thinking he he thought that would work.

 

It's laughable

 

Our only hope now is that by some fluke they come up with a manager that all factions of fans can get behind - I'm finding it difficult to think of one. Maybe our best bet is some one from a foreign league that most haven't heard off.
