anyone brave(stupid) enough to wear the spezials and the shirt at the same time?

theres nothing wrong with either, but you know someone is perhaps trying too hard if they wear both.

I think if you spend that on them you kinda have to - what else will they go with

Have to praise this having seen it in person today. Was disappointed it wasn’t white on the shoulders as speculated but it really is a great effort.

Inevitably walked away with one (sponsorless, though that should go without saying). First shirt I’ve bought in a good while and there’s a danger I buy a long sleeved version down the line.

It’s going to go down a classic and I might as well prepare for the Castore shaped nuclear winter approaching in the distance by buying some stuff whilst it’s still wearable.

Why are they selling it on a market stall in the City Centre but not the club shop?!? Considering we need every penny we can lay our hands on we really aren't very good at maximising our revenue.

I assume they are trying to manufacture a sense of scarcity and exclusivity around getting it, in the hope of boosting sales when it does launch online. In fairness, they have got a lot of people talking about it (largely thanks to the gold), so maybe it has worked

Looking at Morgan and Albrighton wearing it, the Fleur-de-lys appears right under the badge for one of them, and then a few cm under the badge for the others. Great quality control and that's on those they picked out for launch lol

Exactly this. I bet they’ve made more on trainers and the shirts than they ordinarily would have at this stage.

Eh? That’s generally the case for shirts with a printed pattern on. The pattern isn’t going to be located in the exact same location when the badges are applied.

I collect our match worn shirts and this is a key way in which you can verify whether it was the shirt worn by a specific player.

Might have been covered already, the powers that be either still think we’re a premier league club (likely) or they don’t know how to drive demand/footfall.

Checked a few other League 1 clubs most are £55 for their new shirt, we’re £70.

Thats over 25% more than most.

Glad to see the club still treating the Leicester faithful with the utmost respect as always.

They love a "benchmark" against other clubs when it suits them, I wonder if they "benchmarked" against other clubs for the cost of the shirts.

The main issue here probably is that they didn’t expect us to be a league 1 club. This would have been agreed this time last year or a few months down the line.

The club will probably make about £5/£10 per shirt.

I get it though, it’s an obscene amount to pay for a shirt that was made using cheap labour.

The other thing to note re price, If it’s Castore next season I’d imagine it will be cheaper and we are all going to moan about that as well.

Doubt it, Preston is £75, Everton £80

They pretend to be premium but quality is terrible.

But it's significantly off. That's not right on something that is mass produced, and particularly when that pattern is so large
