Yeh let’s play counter attacking football against teams that haven’t got players of the same ability,  who are happy to play a low block, that don’t want the ball and will take a point against us even at home. 🤪

This is bollocks. There's been numerous times over the past 3 games where we win the ball in our own half, there's at least one forward pass on, the opposition are out of position, and it gets played back to the CB or GK.

We can't afford to sack him, so yes, he'll be here well into the future. Enjoy!

He's here for the long term, regardless of how we do this year.

So we can be a bit more direct at times. I don't think you'll find many disagreeing with that. Doesn't mean we can set up as a counter attacking team.

Not bollocks. Firstly when dominating a game you CAN play on the counter attack - and most importantly we DID play on the counter attack at times whilst dominating possession. But we are never going to be able to play pure counter attacking football against MK Dons ffs. They don’t want the ball, even against other league 1 teams. We will have the majority of the ball against the majority of the teams whether you like it or not. This is not Leicester winning the league as underdogs in 15/16 when everyone was trying to beat us for two thirds of the season

Exactly i have been teying to say this... we have chance to break and create a good overload.. but sometimes we dont even look up the pitch, and most other its instinctively to play safe backwards.. our attacking players wings/Outwides/am/cm/strikers ect ...look affraid to go forward.

The style of play completely stunts their instincts to drive forward.

Sack cooper that'll fix it!

Sack RVN that'll fix it!

Sack Marti that'll fix it!

Let Rowett go that'll fix it!

When will people learn it's not the manager?

If today had someone else in charge I think we would be more forgiving, we played well and were very unlucky in the end.

That said it wasnt someone else and it is a bit of a hallmark of his football.

Tuesday is huge for him and us, we have to turn a performance into a win and quickly or its going to snowball like it has the last couple of seasons.

Appointing all those shit managers is a big part of it though.

And do the managers walk in and force Top/rudkin to employ them?

All of them shocking appointments, the answer is appointing a decent manager, hope that helps

I'm pretty sure every single person suggesting Martin isn't the right person to be managing us, also want Rudkin & Top gone.

I have a mate in my group chat who sounds exactly like danny2997. People who can only think binary.

He doesn't seem to know what a footballer looks like, for a clue its not Cullen, Burns, BDCR, Thomas or Watson .

The idea of the game is to score not pass it aimlessly and scramble to get a point,  wake me up when hes gone.

Get Eustace in when Derby sack him.

Why would you consider him, when you have Challinor, with incredible record, waiting for a phone call.

Spurs could’ve said the same if they would’ve had another abject appointment in the same season.

WBA also after 2 shit managers in one season

you get that multiple people can be the problem right? like yes, Rudkin and Top are killing the club, that doesn't mean we should keep this daft prat in charge

Genuinely thought we’d post a win this week (based on what I don’t know - the foul fumes of hope?). Kind of shocked we’re 3 weeks into League One and yet to win a match. I don’t know much about this (or any) league, but I’m guessing some of these teams have been playing together for a while and their play is more coherent and experienced (with each other) than ours - a mostly new outfit. Optimistic? If so we can hope we’ll steadily improve, start clicking and then show a bit of class. Not holding my breath.

Ah yes, as opposed to the Martin out thread popping off and nothing about the club!

No that’s just excuses for his game plans not working.

Wednesday 3rd 3-0 half time with more new players
