AKCJ Posted 6 September Posted 6 September I genuinely expected him to be sacked today. If 4-0 at home to Oxford isn't enough then what will be? 3

I think we are all angry and exhausted at the rate of our decline which is actually accelerating under Martin It actually amazes me. To do it you have to play inch and pace perfect passes from Keeper to Souttar to brayebrooke out the JJ back to Souttar and the back to the keeper, whilst being pressed. All the physical and mental energy just to go nowhere. Astonishes me why anyone thinks it’s the way forward. Edited 6 September by Chelmofox 10
teblin Posted 6 September Posted 6 September I wanted to give him a chance, but 1st 10 mins of notts county you could see issues. Should've won at MK, got a bit lucky against Plymouth. Then Burton and Oxford are two of our worst results ever. Couple that with the arrogant interview yesterday. Terrible. 4

We have to make sure that we turn the same stone over 25 times before we make any decision. Edited 6 September by cityfanlee23 1 4

I just meant Rowett is more suited to league one football. He was hooning while he was here with us.

Chelmofox Posted 6 September Posted 6 September Really do wish an interviewer would probe him about his appalling record. 3 wins in 3 seasons. 2

UniFox21 Posted 6 September Posted 6 September Starting already "Leicester City are understood to be considering the future of Russell Martin after a poor start to their League One campaign, @TEAMtalk understands."

Chelmofox Posted 6 September Posted 6 September I strongly doubt we will see anything for a few games. Hate myself for saying it, but a Stockport thumping might do us a favour. Hopfully our ownership will take a leaf out of Southamptons book last year and how they dealt with Will Still. 1

Should have blamed HIS overpaid, older signings, from former clubs, for being incapable of inspiring anything. To have a Manager blame our young players for his tactics and mismanagement of games is unforgivable. Strongly disagree with this part. He should have shouldered the blame entirely himself. He should have said that he was at fault for misjudging how his team would react to 3 games in a week, and how they should approach the game strategically. This would be the action of a real leader. 2

They should consider they're own futures because they're the idiots that have appointed these failures. 2

It's like a chess game, trying to pull the opposition out of position to exploit the space left. It's so ridiculously risky.. especially trying to do it with players that are clearly incapable. Also, your football intelligence has got to be very high!
Lesta2014 Posted 6 September Posted 6 September My only hope is the board no we are financially about bust if we don’t go straight back up so will have to react quick! Gone by end of September if we don’t pick up at the latest!

You had options? You are literally the manager that is in charge of recognising this might be an issue and doing something about it. Such a Brendan rogers move to point out what was wrong in a way that says "who could of known that would be a problem" You...that is literally your job. Oh he's very much in the camp of Rodgers double speak. Lots of what he says is either untruthful or in service of making himself look better.

I'd take Sven over this clown, even now. Saying that, the top brass hiring a manager that doesn't win games can't really be annoyed when he doesn't win games.

Motiv8a Posted 6 September Posted 6 September We have 41 games left which is obviously a lot of games, but it takes some imagination And more optimism than I have left to envision us coming back with this system and set up. Roll the dice. Give it to someone mental like Fuchs and gamble his legacy to make it more interesting.
