One of my United supporting mates was telling me they’ll get punished because UAE have left OPEC and are basically geopolitically irrelevant now, so there’s no need to have them in the Premier league as there’s no market there.

So they can pay the best legal teams in the world to defend fraud and illegal activity?

 

Probably. 

 

The FA and the PL should also employ the best lawyers to challenge the rebuttal by MCFC if they're serious about any punishment for them. Then turn their gaze on fraudulent activity in other PL clubs.

Probably. And we need to just get over it as much as we're disgusted by it. There is corruption throughout world football both at club and international level. It will be forever thus.

The media has been thrown by this. Lots of "what does it mean?" "Could be irrelevant" etc. Talked up a hostile atmosphere and intimidation yet a few half-hearted boos, some banners then the superior team wins with the minimum of fuss.

 Bet Enzo put all 37 appendices of the independent disciplinary commission constituted to pursue Section W of the PL rules up on the dressing room wall.

 

 I’d run through walls if that was me in the team.
