Opuku is 24 so don't see the point of a loan, so if he goes I think it will be a sale.

 

WB is an interesting one as we could be without Nelson, Souttar and Faes soon and massively short at CB.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Wilson-Brown is just injured, he is a bit injury prone

First thing Russell Martin said to the fans when he came over to us on Wednesday was that they were looking to change stadium. Hopefully doesn’t cause any headaches for those who have gone over for this one.

I think if you've gone all the way to Spain you'll make arrangements for an hour drive there and back. Pain in the arse but manageable

Tomorrow's friendly has been changed to a different stadium with a days notice.

 

No compensation,  no travel arrangements. 

 

Simply tickets will be refunded and you need to buy tickets at the new stadium.

 

What about the people who have accommodation booked? Club refunding? Nope.

 

A day's notice, expecting people to take a financial hit having already put time and effort into travelling to Spain to watch them.

 

The write up is a lie too, the manager told us on Wednesday they didnt like the pitch.

 

The club absolutely stinks.

We have spent good money travelling over here to watch them and they change venue a day in advance.

They could have said in advance. 

 

They would have known they weren't going to play on that pitch since Wednesday.

Why are you surprised? The club have treated us fans like idiots for years. You should of saved your cash and not bothered.

FWIW considering how many of you are there I do think the club should be putting a coach on for you all. But we shouldn't be playing on that pitch again, nor should we expect Malaga to. I don't think time comes in to it when we don't know how long it has taken to sort a different location.

Yeah, i do apologise that we have only just found out so I don't mean to snap at you.

 

But we have been out here since Wednesday. 

 

If the club would have done some due dilligdence,  they would have know the stadium was not suitable. 

 

They haven't even transferred out tickets. They have refunded them so we have to go and buy new tickets.

 

How have they not at the very very very least, put on a coach transfer from the original venue to the new venue?

 

Its just a total lack of care for the fans as usual.

 

Like I say, i don't mean to snap at you, but theres a few of us out here, already massively out of pocket trying to support the club abroad, and now we are even more out of pocket.

 

The club is nothing short of an embarrassment.

The rot on the organisational front of this club isn't clearing anytime soon. Cannot even arrange sufficient pre-season friendlies.

If I buy a ticket for an event, any event, and the event is cancelled or rearranged, I expect my money back. That's all. I don't expect, and won't get, any travel or accommodation costs back unless I've taken out travel insurance to cover it.

 

If I book travel and a hotel to go and see Oasis, and they cancel the gig, they don't give me the travel and hotel money back. Just the ticket money.

 

That said, given the relatively small numbers of fans there, and the drop in the ocean it would be for the club's finances, if I was the club I'd splash out on a coach or two for the fans who are there. (But if I was a fan who was there I wouldn't stamp my entitled little feet and have a hissy fit about it.)

There are lots of transfer options 

 

It hasn’t moved to Malaga which would have been an absolute pain to get to. Banus is halfway between the two. 

 

Uber, Bolt, private transfer companies (google them - Happy Transfers are a good one). There is also a bus called Avanza you can book on between La Linea and Puerto Banus.

Just use the refund money and have a few Estrellas by the beach and forget the game....... because you'll be back home soon!
