Today all the players and RM signed autographs for the kids/whoever wanted them and took photos too. You have to start somewhere right? Russell Martin came here under a very big cloud (for good reason to be fair) but you've got to give him credit in that he does appear to realise that a big problem at Leicester for the last few years has been the complete divide between fans and the club.

 

The club has got rid of a lot of genuine problem characters this summer (Winks, Vestergaard and Ayew the main offenders) and he appears to have recognised the talent in the academy which fans have been crying out for.

 

I'm hoping for a positive season. I just hope that fans realise that we don't have to win the league with 138 points for it to have been a success.

Just got back.

Actually quite enjoyed it.

 

One thing that stood out was a definite shift in mood in the camp. Everyone seemed together and upbeat.

A breath of fresh air to be honest.

 

Few things that stood out.

 

Take out Souttar, okoli, nelson and we are an extremely small team. Not much height in there at all.

 

Hamza's tackles even in training are ridiculously hard, think we need him in there next season for bit of muscle.

 

All the staff were laughing and joking with Okoli, he seems a popular guy.

 

Some of the crossing from Thomas and Page in one drill were diabolical. 

 

Braybrooke gonna be a baller. Quick feet in the drills. He has to start.

 

Otchere finishing was very impressive.

 

Stol is the next Danny Ward.

 

Soke to a few people i know who work down there and all speak so highly of RM

As a ffs person to the appointment of RM, nothing would please me more if I had to eat humble pie all season, but I fear a stack of possession with very little result. Let's see, I'll back the team 100% as there are so many academy players there.

I was worried for the lad's hammies whilst this was happening, but I think they all survived.

 

Quite a nice morning, albeit there was a bit too much selling going on from the bloke on the mic, as in the away kit is now on sale in the shop.

I am actually a little itk for once here (waits until I’m wrong) his wife is really close with a member of my family, from what I know they won’t be leaving any time soon unless pushed out, which I doubt would happen

Will also add he is maybe the nicest pro footballer going, have never heard a bad word. Apparently Chilwell was a massive nob when he was here though, same family member met him at a wedding

Could not agree more about Kingy I had the fortunate opportunity to run around Seagrave with him and spent 30 or so minutes in his company and he is an absolute diamond of a bloke who loves the club and was very open and honest about a lot of things. Let’s put it this way what he said in his first presser as caretaker manager was very much what he was saying to me as well.

Can only presume Evans is injured?

 

Surely even if he had been told he’s not good enough and being loaned out he would likely still have been involved today?
