F**k em off, I want to watch a team I can actually get behind so no thanks, I'll enjoy watching the youth Who said anything about experience, they're are other types of players between 22-27 and not every professional has a bad attitude. It's the environment by previous managers that set our abysmal standards and fitness. Our youth will get plenty of chances because at present we only have 10 senior outfield players and I don't expect that to be much different at the end of the window. I see us losing another 3-5 players and also signing 3-5 players before the window shuts. Not every fan shares your sentiment either, I thought when Page started at the beginning of last season under Marti he was doing quite well, but he got dogs abuse on this forum and I don't expect it to be any different this season either. Popular Post roblcfc84 Posted 29 July Popular Post Posted 29 July He’s 27 ffs 🤦- you can’t just play a team of youth players. Signing 32-35 year olds on long-term deals, I get the complaint. But this lads hardly over the hill. 11

Agree with everything else you said but this. Page didn't get dogs abuse at all, probably the other way if anything, but he definitely wasn't ready at that point. But when he came back from the U17 World Cup (I think) and played for us, he'd grown massively in every aspect and looked a cut above the other midfielders but was then inexplicably cut out for Winks of all people. But sadly you are probably right than any young player will have a bad game then suddenly they'll be written off. That's the Leicester way.
OadbyBlue Posted 29 July Posted 29 July He’s a mid-lower end championship player, not a bad signing at all for this season. He can rotate with Chaplin in the 10, assuming Alves spends most of his time on the wing.
em9999 Posted 29 July Posted 29 July I will give him a fair chance before I start booing him .. What can go wrong its can't get any worse

StinckleyFox Posted 29 July Posted 29 July Also see a lot of people saying we need this magical striker that’s going to score over like 15-20 goals or we will be stuck in league 1 forever…. I may be blind but having a quick look at the goalscorers and not one player that scored more than 15 goals last season got promoted, correct me if I’m wrong? 1
cityfanlee23 Posted 29 July Posted 29 July Not sold on this one at all, but give me a 6/10 player that tries hard, the manager knows, trusts and gets on with, over the egotistical hand-me-downs our managers have been lumbered with for years now. 1

I appreciate you're not happy with this signing, or maybe even any signings, but the negativity (not just from you btw) goes a bit too far sometimes. To answer your question; It would depend on the game situation. Could even be our young players that can play striker, Ochtere, Evans or Hutch Naaaah i've had a gutful of it. I got dogs abuse for booting off about Coady, Winks, Ayew etc and all of them were dog shit as I predicted. Prove me wrong, until then i'll be a horrible and relentless bastard on this. 7 2 10

Popular Post Ric Flair Posted 29 July Popular Post Posted 29 July Heard some quite astonishing things about this transfer. Who's still heavily influencing negotiations on our side which makes a mockery of the changes in place and if folk think Cullen has come here on modest wages then I think we're very naive. 3 1 3 3

You wouldn't leave your boyhood club to drop down to league one for modest wages... 5

TBH I hated his appointment, I've warmed to him and would take the stance as a fan that I will support him as I don't wish to see another relegation. What should infuriate any fan is we have that rank amateur incompetent still very much in control and still making the same mistakes. This club can not ever be well run or competitive with Top and Rudkin calling the shots. I wouldn't right off Cullen as a player but I still don't think he is the right target but I guess a RM signing. The fact we could well be overpaying on wages with where we are is unacceptable. Of course we're not playing with facts at this point but it wouldn't surprise me this is true.
