Leicester City complete permanent signing of striker Admir Bristric The 23-year-old joins from Slovenian club NK Olimpija Ljubljana Bosnia and Herzegovina youth international agrees four-year contract The 23-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina youth international has agreed a four-year contract with us and will now link up with Russell Martin’s squad as they travel to Notts County on Saturday afternoon for our opening Sky Bet League One match of the new season. Speaking to LCFC.com, he said: “I feel proud and amazing to be at such a big club like Leicester. It’s a big step in my career and I’m so excited to show the fans what I can do. I’m very excited to meet everyone, speak with everyone and I hope that we can make great things together this season.” Admir Bristrić Born in the city of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bristric began his footballing journey with Zvijezda Gradačac before spending time in the youth systems of Zrinjski Mostar and Sloboda Tuzla. He moved to Croatia with HNK Rijeka in 2021 and made his senior breakthrough during a loan spell with Hrvatski Dragovoljac, registering 14 top-flight appearances and scoring his first senior goal. The striker joined Olimpija in January 2023 and made an immediate contribution, scoring four times in 14 league appearances as the Ljubljana side secured a Slovenian league and cup double. Admir Bristrić He went on to feature 36 times in all competitions during the following campaign, including 10 appearances in UEFA competition, before spending the 2024/25 season on loan with Ukrainian Premier League side Polissya Zhytomyr. Bristric returned to Slovenia and went on loan with NK Bravo for the 2025/26 campaign - finishing as the club’s leading scorer with 10 league goals. His contribution helped Bravo achieve a club-record third-place finish and secure qualification for the UEFA Conference League, while his form during the closing weeks of the season earned him the Slovenian top flight’s Player of the Month award for May. At international level, he has represented Bosnia and Herzegovina from Under-17 through to Under-21 level, scoring six goals in 14 appearances for the Under-21s. 2 1
