The only real reason for Man Utd to come in for him now is to steal a march on him if any other clubs come in for him.  But if he's a Utd fan and they've already started buttering him up then I don't think there's any need for them to push on him now.  They can come back to him in a year after seeing how he gets on.4

If we let Page go we are screwed. Would doubt Martin would let him go this late. Centre midfield a crucial position and don't want to be left with Skipp.

Don't think Martin will have any say in the matter it will be down to Rudkin & Top.

It’s not about football for us anymore. if someone is offering cash we will sell. Martin won’t have a say, our hands are tide. This one happens.

So basically he could leave or could stay!

Reads to me like unless we get a massive offer he won’t go, his emergence last couple of games as the should be starting CM probably hasn’t helped any chance of a move either considering our lack of depth

Many of us said it last season, build a team around this lad and he will shine. Has openly said he wants regular first team football.

Skipp's red card has helped him prove a point and he should be one of the first names on the team sheet for the foreseeable.

Need to tell Manure to ****-off, we don't have time to find a replacement.

They can have Skipp instead on a season long loan with obligation to buy.

This is one where if it was going to happen it would have happened by now IMO.

Man United aren't going to have plans to have him in their first team just yet so no great rush to get it done.

I suspect there will be some verbal agreement with Man United and Page's family/representatives and it'll just be a case of waiting for the right time.

if they wait and he has a good season, it’s only going to either push his price up, or get more teams interested in him which in of itself will push his price up

I think given how late this is, the club need to agree to a season-long loan back as part of any deal
