I know you’re going off stats but after a read through x, he’s apparently great in the air and a very very good defender who they’re surprised is moving to league 1.

You’d hope he would be given his size… it is a sample of only 14 games, it also suggests he gets sent off a lot as is 5th percentile for red cards (he probably got 1 in those 14), so I wouldn’t read into it too much.

Seems linked to some pretty decent European sides for fee of around €2.5m… same journo said they already rejected €1.5m in July. 

 

There is a photo of him allegedly in the car park after Hannovers game yesterday and they think he’s going there.

Kind of goes against Martin’s narrative that he wants more experience.

 

Maybe this lad was always on the radar as a prospect. 
 

But similar to the Bristric deal, this has come out of the blue and evidence of them scouting some of the lesser European leagues for talent

Finnish FC Inter supporter here, Kangasniemi is one of the most promising (if not the most promising) center back to come from Finland after Hyypiä. He has been a revelation this season and the consensus is that he already should be in Finlands next national team squad. As a player he's truly one of kind in Finland, being agressive, tall, suprisingly fast and skillfull. He's also a good passer of the ball (short and long) and an amazing dribbler for a center back. Still makes the occasional mistake which is natural for a center back of his age, but I'm certain he will learn from them. He was also exceptional when we knocked out Basaksehir from the UEFA Conference league. I think he lost two duels in the whole pair against Davie Selke and the likes. He had interest from all over europe, including the top-5 leagues, Denmark etc. The reported price is 2,5mil €, with certainly some sort of sell-on clause. And YLE is the finnish national broadcaster, so they wouldn't report about it if there wasn't atleast some truth to the story.
