I am merely sharing what I have been told by the journalist who broke the story, he was all set to sign in time for him to be involved tonight that was the plan, it has been delayed and it sits at our end.

my comment about dragging our heels stands, especially when we need to shift out 5 or 6 and bring in 3 or 4 more in a week  to stand any chance to be successful this season.

It’s basically said it be done for Ipswich on the when your smiling podcast but it was telling the Jack Rafferty sounded surprised. I’d imagine the journalist understands that this is done but doesn’t understand UK immigration and employment laws. It takes time.

there’s no ‘dragging of heels’ international transfers always take longer. Bristric took about 1 week from when it broke to signing.

the club will be fully aware that the window closes next Tuesday it’s not like they’ve left things to the last minute before is it 👀

To be fair, I saw some reports saying all the documents had been done and it's just the medical left. I think it will get announced today or tomorrow.

It is more important that he has had some sessions with the team before MK Dons, rather than throwing him into a cup game straight away...

I really hope whilst the medical team/permits are going we have started to work on other things, we do not have the time for a signing or sale every 2/3 days, we need to get moving

You don’t bring a 19 y o kid into a new country and stick them straight into a losing team within a day
even this sh1tshow wouldn’t  do that

Depends what the deal is, could be something outside the clubs control.

Might be wrong but don’t we have to apply and appeal and be rejected on both for a WP before we can apply an Esc place to a player?

May just be that process has moved a bit slower

Not sure I don't understand the process.

Bristric was similarly expected to sign the next day, but it took longer.

Not doubting what you said but highly unlikely a Finnish journalist will understand the process for us to get a player in who needs an ESC.

Stop trying to type while driving! It's dangerous. Pull over when safe to do so and post your message while parked.

Driving at desk a work unfortunately, trying to multitask on around 4 things at once and failing on all fronts .

A cup game where we will get a thumping

Would expect him to be 3rd choice behind a pair of more experienced centre backs.

Can’t see us paying £2m for a backup

Doubt he would come here to be a backup as well

Yeah can't see it either, Finland isn't even a real country but I imagine he'd still stay there over being back up here

Think from the interview I heard about him last night, he's coming here as he will get to play.

Risky business if we are chucking him straight into the first 11. Unlikely he will be ready for league one.

He'll get plenty of games as third choice; he'll be one of three new centre backs anyway regardless (IMO). We need them, I want Okoli and Souttar plus Faes sold/out.

Riskier sticking with Okoli & Souttar

We will soon see. We need to be buying players that improve the team. time will tell.

It's more Okoli and Souttar as a pair don't work. I think someone that can actually pass and won't shit themselves every time they get a ball will actually help someone like Souttar.

Bin Okoli & Faes off and bring another CB with Ilari

Stick with Okoli & Souttar tonight.

With a bit of luck one will either get injured or be too exhausted for Saturday and we'll be forced to make the change.

Couldn't give a fvck about tonight's result, should just forfeit it.
