We’re continuing to strengthen our commitment to meaningful supporter engagement with our Fan Engagement Plan for the 2026/27 season.

• Highlights examples of supporter feedback leading to changes while setting out a continued commitment to greater transparency
• Club to focus on increasing participation in fan engagement, strengthening supporter representation and demonstrating how your views can be heard

The Plan sets out the ways supporters can share their views with us, how that feedback reaches decision-makers and the steps being taken to strengthen communication and demonstrate impact.

At the heart of our framework is the Fan Advisory Board (FAB), providing strategic supporter input to senior representatives, including Chief Executive Kevin Davies. These discussions are informed by feedback gathered through the wider engagement framework, with summaries of key discussions and actions published following meetings.

Leicester City Chief Executive Kevin Davies said: “Meaningful engagement with our fans is an important part of how we continue to develop as a Football Club, and this Plan provides a range of opportunities for supporters to share their views and ensures those views can be considered through the appropriate channels.

“We want to continue building an open and constructive dialogue with our supporters, while being clearer about how their feedback is used and the difference it can make. We will continue to listen, learn and work together with our fans during the 2026/27 season to improve their experience and help shape the future of Leicester City.”

 

Supporting the FAB is the FCC Working Group, bringing together representatives from various Supporter Groups, elected and appointed supporters, FAB members and Club staff. The group meets at least four times each season to discuss matters affecting fans, with meeting summaries and actions published on LCFC.com.

There are also opportunities for all supporters to get involved, with Your 90 Minutes providing the chance to discuss key topics directly with Club personnel, while supporter surveys enable fans to share feedback from wherever they support the Club.

Furthermore, LCFC Help remains available for questions, assistance and feedback, while our Here to Help team are located around King Power Stadium on home matchdays to provide further support.

This Plan builds on a review of our supporter engagement activity during 2025/26, which included 53 engagement meetings across the FAB, FCC Working Group, Supporter Groups, international groups and Your 90 Minutes.

The review identified a number of priorities for the season ahead, including increasing awareness and participation in the Fan Engagement Framework, strengthening leadership visibility and developing the Supporter Group Network.

 

The Fan Advisory Board said: "As a group, the Fan Advisory Board takes very seriously the opportunity to represent a fans eye view to the group.

“We are all Leicester City fans first and foremost. We know that over the last couple of years there has been a feeling of disconnect between the Club and fans.

“We are determined to bridge that gap, sharing the progress of the Fan Engagement Framework clearly and regularly."

The Plan also highlights examples of where supporter feedback has already contributed to changes, including lowering the minimum age for unaccompanied match attendance, introducing a ticket donation scheme and ring-fencing a proportion of Safe Standing tickets for match-by-match sale during 2026/27.

The section about "not in scope" for the FAB is interesting.

 

Basically you're not allowed to bring forward proposals for commercial opportunities. Pretty sure members of the FAB were selected because of a wide range of knowledge across their areas of work. Why on earth would the club not entertain recommendations from those individuals?

 

Doesn't mean they can't say no but surely that should be the exact forum for FAB members to bring forward ideas that could help the club commercially.

I believe the FAB is restricted but not the FCC. I know since I am in the meetings that many ‘commercial’ ideas have been brought to the club through the FCC. Some minor ones have been taken up, many deferred due to current fiscal weakness. It’s not always obvious. We brought up ideas for hospitality that have been implemented, someone brought up moving the fan zone to the brick weave which they have done, concourse food and service is still not addressed. If you have a good idea share with me and I will raise it. I may get short shrift from the club but at least we tried.

The pace of getting anything done is absolutely glacial. The example of a "you said we did" around the hold back of season tickets in the standing section goes all the way back to a UFS suggestion when it was first the "singing section", in 2022.

 

Do wonder who is putting this together now as the woman that was "running" the whole thing has left.

Correct snail and tortoises lose the will to live. This current posting has been around a while and was developed while Imogen was still here. As far as I can tell there is no replacement so it’s probably why we see no changes. The club I am sure are saving money by not filling the vacancy.

The current fab set up is undemocratic and the agenda is controlled by the club. 

Imo elected delegates should be able to ask anything... the clubs refusal to respond will be noted
