Can we just delete this please? My brain really doesn't want to have to acknowledge it's happening.

OMG they expecting fans to buy tickets for this lol

I'm not sure you could pay fans to attend, you could be looking at the lowest ever home first team attendance, wouldn't be surprised if less than 1,000 turn up. Maybe looking at 500 - 600 fans present. Maybe more fans at a Harborough Town game

It's a pity they couldn't move this fixture to the training ground, rather that than play at 95% empty stadium.

I don't think they are expecting fans to buy tickets - they haven't put them on sale.

I think they will play the game at Seagrave if they can.

part of an email reply i had last week on the 3rd

'We have no information on this at the moment, please keep checking your emails and the website for further updates.'

is there any chance it benefits the club to just have it behind closed doors like covid?

i dont know why im so bothered but i thought i'd go to the home ones - seems like theyre not bothered about opening the door for it

I imagine similarly to it having to be at the home ground, it also has to have an attendance (even if it's 100)

As others have said, should be free to attend for season ticket holders and members and whatever covers the cost of stewards for half a stand for anyone else who is mad enough to go.

11 days away :dunno:

Are you suggesting you want information for our eagerly anticipated game against a youth team?

I really hope you can sort a ticket before kick off.

Anyone enquiring about this should be banned from buying tickets at our phoenix club.

Slightly odd mentality from many here towards this.

Sure, it’s not Barcelona in the Champions League final, but it’s a chance to play some youth, a potentially cheap ticket for some who can’t justify £30+ to watch us get pumped in the league, and ultimately it’s a trophy to win.

It’s unusual that we’re less than two weeks from a home game, yet there’s no ticket info yet. Taking the piss out of people for asking about it is very strange.

I’ve got no issue with people wanting to go or a cheap ticket, I need to travel an hour to the king power myself and if it’s cheap enough I might even go. What frustrates me is people’s impatience in emailing the club. Probably because i work in customer service I see it more. Its naff that it’s 11 or 12 days away and not released info but whats the issue if they release info 3 days before and collection of tickets on the night?
it will be the lowest attendance in years :dunno:

If you want to go then it’s no problem how quick tickets are released but that’s my way of thinking..

Can the club charge nothing for tickets or is it the cup rules, fans that do decide to turn up will still spend money in the concourse and the club shop so some sort of revenue. You won't fill the stadium, but opportunity for many can't normally afford to go the KP, get the opportunity for free.
