Babylon Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 I'm annoyed, confused, scared and perhaps a bit crazy. Radio Leicester says that a 'very good source' tells them the bid is 3m with no safeguards for the future of the club, the buying of the stadium or extra funds for players. BUT The Merc and MM say that the bid is "close to" 25m, including plans for buying the stadium and discussion about extra money for players. It's expected that there be some difference in rumours, but surely not by this much! I would imagine the trust are looking at the fact it's £3m of his cash to buy the club. He won't get that back, the other £22m are loans that will be given back to him at some point one way or another.

It's expected that there be some difference in rumours, but surely not by this much! It could be that Milan has offered the shareholders just £3 million to buy all of their shares. He may also have failed to provide in depth details of what his plans are RE: stadium and funds for transfers. But in reality, it could be that Milan intends to purchase the ground and make the rest of the money available for transfers. I would hope this will be established in the meeting today. I'm not too concerned at present, what happens after today's meeting is where it really hots up.
Dr The Singh Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Interesting theory. I suspect they know more than what we do (as always) and they may be surplus to requirements soon, hence the reason why they're behaving the way they are. Nice work Singh Extreme. Maybe they should be tortured a little bit, but not hanged I get it......is that's where you come in!!!!!!

Most of all the problems we’re encountering through the media are the outcome from the Foxes Trusts counteract . Once Milan takes-over they should be destroyed. If this falls through I think the majority of fans (99.8%) should start break away club - Leicester AFC. It has to be the only option.

Master Fox Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Foxes Trust - dont trust them, they are out to get us..... I'm serious. If this all falls through because of them the rest of fans should start a break-away club.

Manwell Pablo Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Maybe we should torture rubbish ex players.... ie. Lee Marshall or Junior Lewis Why bother with them when we have Johnson.
Master Fox Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Only if I can be Vice President??? No because you have gay tendencies
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 No because you have gay tendencies Ok Chief Masseur
lcfc_jme Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 I get pretty militant about these things. No mercy Good to hear. Might as well let you join in then. It's easy to escape a murder charges in this country
The Don Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Bear in mind that the Mockery are in Mandy's back pocket. Maybe because they can see where this is all going, and it'll be bad for future exlusives if they piss him off now!! Or, they think they can sell more papers on the short term by writing articles about him. Suppose RL as an independant non money making entity, don't care who they piss off, so will cover all sides of the story, without prejadice.
The Don Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 You’re asking for trouble pal... As punishment you have to spend the day in a locked room with the foxes trust and have discussions Can I be there as an independent observer?
Master Fox Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Can I be there as an independent observer? If you must
The Don Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 If you must I'm only doing it so I'm looking out for the fans of ORF, not sothat I can get any free tickets or to make me feel important or anything..
Master Fox Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 I'm only doing it so I'm looking out for the fans of ORF, not sothat I can get any free tickets or to make me feel important or anything.. That's fair enough. It's reason why most the people there will be attending
Chrysalis Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 D'you think the finances are unimportant? For us, of all clubs? It's just that, for me, it seems important because Mandaric can directly affect the finances and only indirectly affect the performance on the pitch. And is the money offered enough to guarantee premiership football? Because that level loan certainly is enough to guarantee bankrupting us if it goes tits up... I see you still playing your PR game putting spin on loans. The majority of football clubs in particular where takeovers are involved are based on debt. Portsmouth situation may have gone bad but it didnt so its a mute point. Their is no garuantuees in football if it was all based on them it would be boring.
Chrysalis Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 Er, quite a few teams in this division have cash behind them and not been promoted. it's going to be primarily a loan, not investment. And if you looked through my earlier posts, you can see how money can be taken out without a new buyer. And did Wolves or Ipswich bite his hand off? Investments are loans.
Daggers Posted 7 November 2006 Posted 7 November 2006 NEW OFFER ACCEPTED Breaking news from Radio Leicester In, what has to be the scoop of the century, Barber has discovered that a new consortium has had an offer for the club accepted."I found out by text while sitting on the toilet" said the worlds worst journalist "and quite literally shat myself!" Asked if it was in fact a text he had sent to himself during a particularly recalcitrant motion, Barber protested his innocence. Shouting until foam started appearing at his mouth, he was positive that the joint Bin Laden/Batman bid of £3,250 had now gone through. Then Barber scoffed all of our reporters Custard Creams.
