Milan Mandaric has targeted leicester!

this is from another message board, is it a joke?

Our Organisation the ISA rightly so praise the board for making an attractive propistion however, as REAL supporter we have the clubs interest at heart and grateful Mr Mandaric has made a bid however with our knowledge and guil and the leadership of MR LANCE TOMLIN and his consortium we believe our manifest and proposal will offer a second to none propistion to both supporter and the Championship we will be at Hilsborough United as the ISA and we will make sure that Lance and Carlsberg recieve the support to lead us and the rightful chief exec to the boardroom. It has been brought to our attention that there was a slur against the supporters club and there leader cliff ginetta, we would like to go on record and state that we are not the people whom made these allegations and nor do we condone them. We as the ISA would like to phase out the LCFC supporters club and make a charter and make the ISA the one voice of Leicester City and to be lead by Lance over the coming years. The ISA and LANCE TOMLIN recognise the stirling work done by the club and the money invested however feel it is now time for the current shareholders and the foxes trust to stand down and let the big boys and the true heart beat of the club take LCFC into the new era, and lead your club to the premiership. No one wanted to touch the club three years ago and now with 3/4 proposal feel that ours is the one to take the club forward. We have plans and designs and list of targets and players and Lance has made these clear to who he wants and who he doesnt want. Quote Lance "I have supported this club for many years and making changes for the better, and restructuring the playing staff the various organisations and making them redundant and having one voice of the club, Lance will make the penultamate decisions and this is one we all unite as the ISA" "The ISA is the future the ISA is the way forward we pledge you a debt free club and also we look forward to giving you LANCE the voice and soul of LCFC"

Lance Tomlin took home the award for academic achievement and course work, excellent kitchen hygiene standards and exemplary attendance.

But later, perhaps:

Lance Tomlin, 42, was charged with reckless driving for allegedly ramming another vehicle twice Sunday night. Police said the arrest came after Tomlin struck the rear of another vehicle in the 1700 block of Massachusetts Street, and then again when the other car stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of 19th and Massachusetts streets.

Tomlin apparently was upset because the other driver allegedly turned in front of him. When the first vehicle stopped at the intersection, both drivers exited their vehicles to confront one another, police said.

Police responded to the accident and arrested Tomlin, who later was released from Douglas County Jail

As I say, Lance's aren't to be trusted, who on here has ever met a bloke called Lance who hasn't fooked them over? Even that Lance of Neighbours was a kniveing little Fu ck! Did you see how difficult he made life for coner when he came back! disgraceful.

Official statement saying nothing here.

It's a counter to Milans media activites, unfortunatley for them they're no where near as good as Milan is at this, as this statement evidentley shows.

So basically they are going to meet up with Milan next week or as soon as possible and discuss and javelin with him. Let's hope they come to an agreement. So we aren't even at a stage where the shareholders will be called to vote, because the board want to talk to Milan about 'options'. When does the shareholding vote come in to place? When Milan says, this is my final offer, YES or NO?

It's weeks away yet then.

Looks like a pre-cursor to a declination IMO.

Assuring us that whatever they decide in in our best interests as a club.

Right, the beastie boys has finished, what goes on next on the MM fun bus?

And is anyone else getting on or is it just me, Fezz and the Flairmeister.

I'm in. Card school at the back??

As long as it's through before December 31st it makes no odds.

You might all be gossip hungry but the fact of the matter is any one who comes in isn't going to be able to change this club until the transfere window opens.

You betcha. Some geezers called Callum and Dennis have just got on board too.

I'd chuck them off but they each bunged me a tenner and Callum even gave me his half finished can of tizer.

MM is not going to get the club, the board have made it obvious in this last statement that they are going to continue to do things for the good of the club.....in other words reject the bid. if one of the other investors doesn't come in with something decent this could be a very negative time for the club IMO

I don't understand why people attach so much importance to the transfer window. Mandy has said he would have prefered to bid in the New Year, which suggests to me that in his mind any major transfer deals would be done in the Summer. If he does get in I wouldn't expect too much to happen in the January transfer window.

I'm concerned about this word Investment that they use. Do they want investment or actually being bought out and taken over? Because if they just want someone to invest, it won't happen. Because the club is only worth £6 million anyway and that's not a great amount of money, so if someone was to invest a decent amount then they'd own the most shares anyway. But it seems this board don't want to sell up, they want to stay and interfere but with someone elses money. No-one in their right mind would give this board a right wedge and allow them to continue to balls things up.

I'm going to try and stay calm here, but that statement is horrible.

i probably phrased it wrong, i meant that the very second we come good he gets it in 1 chunk....22 mil from promotion goes straight back into his pocket and then anything more is a bonus. not a gradual repayment to himself but a loan on 20m with an automatic repayment once things get good again

Lets say we get to the premiership then, hes took his 22m back. All good, we now have a stadium paid off, no outstanding loans to MM and we can then give it a shot at staying up, and im sure MM will propbally invest more when we are there.

The club is worth what anybody is prepared to pay for it. On paper it's worth circa 9-10 million, as it's solvent and it's assets exceed it's liabilities.

I think it's a very positive statement.

I'd agree... if their saying their going to meet with him then that is good, it's becoming very clear there is no other real, substantive, offer on the table or such an offer would have already been presented, I cant see why the board would not hold the meeting and present what every they agree with Milan to the shareholders... a majoirty of whom, i would think, would back any sensible offer.

With the official statement that the club has released earlier this morning, i'm only getting thoughts that the board are going to reject the offer.
