An offer from Milan is the best/s] offer your going to get, it's that or division one... I for one I'm going to be hardpressed to pay to get into Leicester, watch a sh*te city side play other sh*te division one sides for two hours on a saturday, it simply wont be worth the money.

Bizarre. Do you know what the other offers are? And we're scarcely showing relegation form at the moment either.

according to the mockery next friday is our deadline for milan's bid, should we take it or not.

while we are not showing relegation form at the moment few people can say the future is bright if things stay the same surely swedging?

No one has any idea what the offer was, stop bandying around figures that are non-sensical.

The statement has been worded so as not to rule anything in, nor anything out.

not sure about that. There is apparently other interest from the US according to early reports as well as possible local bidders. In my limited experience once something of this scale is seen as available for sale sooner or later someone will make a bid of sufficient interest that a deal will follow. The existing board haven't played hard to get or denied their willingness to make a deal and have indicated they have the club's welfare in the front of their minds . Maybe there's another Malcolm Glazer or the bloke who bought Villa out there somewhere

Yeah, I saw that. After saying he wanted longer out of the game, he now wants a decision immediately? Either just playing to the gallery or trying to bounce the board.

And I really don't think things are going to stay the same.

Not naming names but according to a poster on the OS a mate of his who is opposed to the supporters club and a big name in a brewery is ready to make a bid. He is also allegded to think members of the official supporters club are low-life and will take complete charge of the club if his bid is accepted and make all the decisions about who stays and who goes. This is all hearsay and has not been substansiated by the person so it is most likely a load of codswollop. :D

Although there are plenty that will claim to have "inside information", I prefer not to rely on what the turnstyle operator says. I am prepared to be patient, hopeful.

I would like to think that Milan offers us a possible future that is better than the one we have. Nothing in life is perfect, and life with Mandy will not be a bed of roses everyday I suspect...but it is a future we do not have at the moment that promises success...I like the sound of success.

I see a light.

Reality check! Those nob head shareholders own the club, they bought it and what they do with their shares is their own decision. We can only hope they have the best interests of the club at heart - and all the evidence so far suggests they have.

I have yet to see evidence to suggest what you say is true.

I have evidence of course that a shareholder is bitching he wants more money for his shares.

It's not a lady, then? That narrows it down slightly.

This obviously means there could be days of negiotation ahead, which isn't a bad thing, aslong as everything is settled!!

Seriously, I know you're admin and you shouldn't anger the beast, but what the hell are you talking about???

I am still wondering what does Milan want with Leicester City. I do not believe he is in it to make Leicester fans happy and I do not believe football clubs of our size are as great an investment as everybody seems to think. You are all over Milan, without knowing a thing,

The rest of your argument is based on desperation and blind hope. We all want better times for City, but no need to go overboard and be stupid about it. Not considering other takeovers, not knowing the full facts but advising to go ahead with it. Calm down.

Granted Milan is a mini-celeb and has a lovely perma tan. If I was female, I'd probably swoon at the knees, but I'm not going to go and be easy because he's got a fifty in his pocket.

If football was such a great business to make money, there would be more people lining up to buy football clubs and more financial institutions lining up to loan money to football clubs. As it is, the only groups buying clubs are those who have a genuine commercial opportunity e.g. Man U which might as well be a disney of football with its retail operations or those with dodgy financial operations, Galdaymek, Abramovitch. The Villa takeover is the only one that doesn't fit the mold so in my mind is unique.

The shareholders bought our club when in trouble. That is their own money. They are only right to want appropriate payback, however infuriating it is. Let's wait for more info to leak out, even if it takes time and then make our own judgements.

You and every other person I have seen not favouring him are forgetting 2 MAJOR things.

1 - His track record.

What do you think of this, are you disregarding it? if so why?

2 - The alternative.

the alternative looks to be this midlands outfit heavily linked with the tigers, this to me would be the first step of the tigers getting what they wanted our stadium and I expect the future would be a lot more bleak with these running the strings, it also involves keeping the current board.

And who will we blame if MM assets strips the club and leaves us in Administration? The current board for not understanding his intentions. They have all the facts, we don't. If Mandaric pulls out next week then it will be becuase he wasn't able to make enough money from the deal - and maybe that will be because the board wanted the club to own the stadium etc, not becuase they want to line their pockets.

What clubs has he done this at?

again you ignoring the history and why do you think the midlands outfit are less likely to asset strip, they are involved with the tigers and this leads me to believe we will lose sole use of the stadium with them.

We've been shafted in the past by people with a lot BETTER track record than Mandaric. That's how we ended up in administration!

So mr ellis had run a half a dozen clubs before with success?

I haven't. 3 American clubs. One a success.

Standard Liege. Told to feck off when he wanted to take control. Charleroi. Told to feck off.

Nice. Left after one year amid recrimination and involvement of m'learned friends.

Portsmouth. Bought at the right time, got in old codface to do the business, successful, forced old codface out and made a series of mad decisions, 3 successive seasons dodging relegation, maybe forced to sell up when it looked like Pompey were doomed.

Koper. Paid of their debts. Now stand in the bottom half of their league with 2 wins out of 16 after Mandaric dumped a load of new players in, apparently.

And since then? Did Hayward refuse to give him Wolves because of a lack of assurances about their future? What's this malarkey with Ipswich?

One alternative?

The 47 shareholders rescued the club from administration three years ago and remain totally committed to safeguarding and developing the future of the club.

Thats the part that worries me.... it kind of says 'we know best'.....
