Changing the subject slightly, has anyone seen the filmm 'Withnail and I'? its probably one of my favourite films - perfectly acted with a witty script to match.

We should prob call the thread the uk film thread

Crash was on last night. Good film, would like to hear anyone else's comments.

Crash (1978) was made for TV and William Shatner was wooden. I can not think of a good made for TV film apart from Duel - although my daughter would argue that Zoe101 is the greatest film ever made after Enchanted.

Crash (1996) was Cronenburg wanking himself into a celluloid can. Absolute, unadultered shit in a box.

Crash (2004) was a storming, Oscar-winning flick with great interplay using the timeshift format popularised by Tarantino.

Which one did you see?

Presuming you are referring to the most recent one, i would have to say its not a bad film at all. But i dont understand why the Oscar! :dunno:

Sat through Lions For Lambs this afternoon.

Great cast with Tom Cruise, Robert Redford and Meryl Streep, but yawn, yawn, yawn, propaganda.

Next up im watching, Never Back Down, which im looking forward to, it's a sort of Karate Kid come Bloodsport come Save The Last Dance.

Sounds Good Dunnit. :thumbup:

Not bad for under £30 worth.

The Kingdom is unbelievably boring, Superbad is hilarious though.
