Disappointed with Hancock. Half a good film, the rest were wank.

Should have stuck to the concept.

I thought the end part

with the brother/sister/husband/wife concept

the most intriguing bit of it all. First three quarters were god-awful, just a succession of quick cuts, TV coverage after TV coverage within the movie, a mishmash of all that is superhero movie-like, an annoyingly shaky camerawork ("Bourne Supremacy" springs to mind) and a pathetic soundtrack.

Charlize Theron looked fit, though. Did you notice her change of make-up towards the end? :cool:

Agreed should have stuck to the original script when it was called 'Tonight He Comes' tbh. Seems much more open for comedy. Expected more from the film in general, it was completely incoherent most of the time adding in storylines left right and centre.

Tried to hard really.

Other films i've seen recently:

Wanted - fooking brilliant balls out action film. Definately reccomended. Only qualm was the bullshit weave mythology thats explained far better in the comic.

Kung Fu Panda - Funny in parts and harmless all round. Brilliant visuals and extremely entertaining. Don't epect anything extrodanary but it was a good waste of a few hours.

The Incredible Hulk - Best comic book movie i've seen ... well since Iron Man. I am properly loving the fact that Marvel are making thier own movies now. Im not gonna waffle on about my thoughts on this as i could be here for a long time. CROSSOVERS!!!!!!!!!! Enough from me. Brilliant - GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

Sex And The City - Stupid one year anniversary. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! Only nudity was a man willy and a ginger boob. Poor form.

The Love Guru - Not Myers' best work and by no means a return to form. Wasn't so shit that i'd bitch about it on the internet but just wasn't as great as id hoped either.

The same way that Elvis Hammond managed to get himself a professional contract ... MAGIC!

Wall-E - Fantastically cute little film which i have no idea how it works as there is fook all dialogue at all. Worth a peep just cos its pixar. Not as good as its back catalogue of say Toy Story or Nemo but it lies alongside them nicely.

Im not bothered how cheesy or slapstick it is, in fact the more ridiculous it is the better. To give you an idea of the level of wit im after - the film im most eagerly anticipating this year is called 'Zack and Miri Make A Porno'.

Reccomend me up peeps.

I have so many DVDs I bought last term that I am yet to watch. Best film I have seen recently was stranger than fiction, sweet film but I thought it was excellent. I don't see many mainstream stuff, I like to buy DVDs when they get to below £5, you can find some absolute gems, Run lola Run & 21 Grams being some recent ones I got for under £5.

Stranger than Fiction's lovely, it's not perfect but it's a little flawed gem. Whats 21 grams like? I've been meaning to see that.
