Solihullfox Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 Probably a reaction to the actual diarrhoea I've had for the past week. Sorry to bring that up davie, seem to remember reading your thread last night. Obviously transfer rumours are very much a fluid situation and once a story starts it runs and runs however crap the rumour is. This one does deserve to be flushed down the loo mind !

Chrysalis Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 Link LWICD's Favourite The signings are rather poor, but you have to laugh at the Stearman price tag Seeing charlton today I would put holland as their man of th ematch, very good passer of the ball and in a team with low confidence he was always calm. I reckon he was good enough to warrant chalrton not putting him on the market.
Daggers Posted 30 December 2006 Posted 30 December 2006 Is there any truth in the rumour that this is a new away kit that we are using today?

davieG Posted 31 December 2006 Author Posted 31 December 2006 Yes Really Source Leicester City could miss out on Ellington and Dunn The Milan Mandaric takeover hasn't happened yet, and that will most certainly give the club no chance of signing two of their possible targets. David Dunn was earlier linked with Leicester, but now both Man City and Blackburn has shown interest and City will miss Dunn if any of the other two clubs comes in for him. Nathan Ellington is at the moment linked with Watford and Wigan, but Leicester City was also believed to be tracking the situation here.
Brummie-FOX Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 I thought about Nathan Ellingtn a few weeks ago. I think he could do quite well here, although West Brom said they don't want to let him go.

Well thinking about him is what you should limit it to, preferably in your sleep because that's the only way you'll see him in an LCFC shirt anytime soon - your dreams that is
Louise Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 http://www.clubcall.com/index.jsp?storyID=304399 Dowie to come in and be given £8m to spend in January.
Nationwider Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 http://www.clubcall.com/index.jsp?storyID=304399 Dowie to come in and be given £8m to spend in January. Good find Louise. It's up to their usual standards.... I'd love to work for Clubcall. You probably spend most of the day drunk in the pub.
davieG Posted 31 December 2006 Author Posted 31 December 2006 http://www.clubcall.com/index.jsp?storyID=304399 Dowie to come in and be given £8m to spend in January. Let's hope he spends it better than the last 8 mill he had!
MC Prussian Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Let's hope he spends it better than the last 8 mill he had! According to this BBC Sport article, Mattew Upson's about to leave Brum. With some of our defenders leaving in the Summer (or even earlier), could he be somebody to build a squad around should he come here on a free?

With some of our defenders leaving in the Summer (or even earlier), could he be somebody to build a squad around should he come here on a free? Although he would be a great signing I think Upson will be moving back into the Prem for a bigger team. Shame.
Swedging Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 According to this BBC Sport article, Mattew Upson's about to leave Brum. With some of our defenders leaving in the Summer (or even earlier), could he be somebody to build a squad around should he come here on a free? He's got 18 months left on his contract and the talk is that he may be leaving for the Prem for a fee of around £8million next month. So coming here on a free is probably unlikely.
lildave3 Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Although he would be a great signing I think Upson will be moving back into the Prem for a bigger team. Shame. Rumours were that even Chelsea were interested in him...
Brummie-FOX Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Yeah, Thats the point I made until it got deleted
Simi Posted 31 December 2006 Posted 31 December 2006 Rumours were that even Chelsea were interested in him... Seeing Chelseas defending vs Fulham im not shocked.
