lildave3 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 This lad is a real class act.... I was at Uni in Essex, based in Colchester and i used to get down there a few times to watch them play when he was on loan there. He's quality..... Loads of pace and skill. He played up front a lot for them and scored quite a few goals i think.... Really impressed with this signing. Well done RK..... That sounds more encouraging!
davieG Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Surely Wesolowski would come into the team ahead of Johnson?! Neither of them are fit though.
Leicester Lass Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Neither of them are fit though. Pah. Since when has that bothered RK?
Jonbluefox9 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 I still think a fit Wesolowski would get into the team ahead of Johnson. Weso didn't really get into the game on Saturday, Johnson was brought on as a like-for-like replacement (positionally). Weso's form hasn't been amazing when he has played this season, although it's been very stop-start for him, but most supporters are willing to give him a break because he's young and has shown potential in the past.
RowlattsFox Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 he's been at tottenham for a while now, ok so he not played many games but they havent released him either. i'm ok with this signing, lets see what he can do. hope we can get a centre mid before the days out but i dont see it.
morris1234 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 for colchester he played 44 games and scored 5 goals!! dont know about the assists?
potter3 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 He got 6 goals and 6 assists in all competitions.
Unit Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 ermmmm, how many strikers is that now? -hume -fryatt -cademensteryaryteyy -de vries (still loaned out? or we sell him?) -horsefield -yaetes -dodds -hammond
Daggers Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 ermmmm, how many strikers is that now? -hume -fryatt -cademensteryaryteyy -de vries (still loaned out? or we sell him?) -horsefield -yaetes -dodds -hammond & Bill Oddiehambo
potter3 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 ermmmm, how many strikers is that now?-hume - perhaps he can move into his more favoured role in the 'hole' -fryatt -cademensteryaryteyy - I don't think he'll ever start for us, unless he magically regains match fitness from playing 10 minutes a week -de vries (still loaned out? or we sell him?) - Loaned (and shit) -horsefield - The only one with any aerial prescence -yaetes - more of a winger isn't he? -dodds - Doesn't look like he'll get a chance now -hammond
Wycombe Fox Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Simple stats 78 appearances, 6 goals, 13 yellow cards, 0 red cards. Give the lad a chance - at least it's a 'fresh face'
filbertway Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 I have to say I was quite excited when I heard about this, when I saw him for colchester last season against chelsea I thought he looked pretty good. Let's hope he can do well for us
Lord Nibblington Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Yeates is more of a winger than a stiker, so I wouldn't judge him by the number of goals he's got. I'ver never seen him personally, but I know he was rated quite highly by quite a few Spurs fans when he started to emerge from their youth team as a skillful, intelligent player who could do really well. There was some clamour for him to get some games in the first team. Of course, as Spurs got good under Jol, and signed some pretty decent forwards, he fell down the pecking order. I think he could be a good signing. But like I said, I've never seen him play, so who knows?
The People's Hero Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Now we've got all this cover, can we shoot Elvis Hammond? Or loan him to me? He can be my chauffeur.
dandannieldanok Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Or loan him to me? He can be my chauffeur. He probably cock that up
Lord Nibblington Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Now we've got all this cover, can we shoot Elvis Hammond? Or loan him to me? He can be my chauffeur. So you fancy going really quick down the M20 and then overshooting your exit by a good mile or two? Whatever takes your fancy.
MC Prussian Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 ermmmm, how many strikers is that now? -Hume MIDFIELDER -Fryatt -Cadamarteri -De Vries (still loaned out? or we sell him?) STILL OUT ON LOAN -Horsfield -Yeates MIDFIELDER -Dodds -Hammond
Louise Posted 31 January 2007 Author Posted 31 January 2007 Thanks. I haven't seen it mentioned before in a transfer. It's only being mentioned now because it's deadline day and all paperwork has to be done by midnight.
Thracian Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 He got 6 goals and 6 assists in all competitions. Bit more promising than Low, Sylla and Hughes in that position then.
Head Honcho Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 Has signed from Spurs. Would've preferred Simon Walton from Charlton but let's give him a chance!
filbertway Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 On sky sports it says we've loaned him? Have we signed him permo or loaned?
1884 Posted 31 January 2007 Posted 31 January 2007 On sky sports it says we've loaned him? Have we signed him permo or loaned? loan
