Master Fox Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I wish i had a orange, red, cream and green striped Paul Smith scarf....
Dames Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I think its going to collapse now. The club have tried to take Mandaric for a fool and now hes trying to get us on the cheap because of it. The greedy old men that run this club won't accept it and then a statement will be released saying. 'Leicester City have today announced that Milan Mandaric's proposed buyout of Leicester City has collapsed. We would like to place on record that we will be trying doubly hard and leaving no stone unturned in looking for new investors.'
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I'm on it... There, that should melt his heart: Your joking aint ya, they eat them in Scotland.
Ric Flair Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 MM was on L Sound, sounded right pi$$ed off I thought Mandaric was still in Serbia? What did he say then?
davieG Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I thought Mandaric was still in Serbia? What did he say then? I think they do have radio links in Serbia
Ric Flair Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I think they do have radio links in Serbia So has he been on Leics Sounds? I have been listening to RL all day and they've not had him on. Why would the other poxy local radio station get Milan on the blower and Barber hasn't?

THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 'Leicester City have today announced that Milan Mandaric's proposed buyout of Leicester City has collapsed. uncle_connolly Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Without a doubt the takeover's going through. For Taylor it will be mission accomplished. Or failed. Apparently he was/is totally against the takeover, he does not like Mandaric and has stepped down due to his total disagreement to the takeover.
a-fox Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 i think the deal is nearly done so they stepped down to slow the deal down. So they have more time to finish making a consortium so they can buy the club.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I wouldn't worry, I seem to recall Robbo posted a similar thing a week or so back when the news broke that MIlan's mum wall ill. Either sparky tunes in to another RL or Robbo talks out of his behind on a regular basis. OUT OF MY BOTTOM me?? never...... Sparky is an avid listener.....
eaststandtom Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Or failed. Apparently he was/is totally against the takeover, he does not like Mandaric and has stepped down due to his total disagreement to the takeover. Taylor was openly for the deal though. he had the early dialogue with MM.
Finn Claw Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I spotted a pack of M&M's in a newsagent whilst picking up my lunch, is this a sign that the deal is about go through? Also the M&Ms happened to be stacked next to the walkers crisps - coincidence, I think not.

Lord Nibblington Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Foxes Never Quit. Err. Andrew Taylor just did.
Lord Nibblington Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Obviously not a fox. Are you suggesting he was some kind of badger?
Wils Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Are you suggesting he was some kind of badger? Me....Would i? Cock Badger.
Lord Nibblington Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Me....Would i? Cock Badger. I don't know! That's why I was asking! You could've meant he was some kind of racoon, for all I know. Which as pointed out, is not a lot.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Andrew Taylors resignation will hopefully save us some money at least, unless of course it involved some payoff. Yes good riddance. Doesn't matter if these people saved our club. I helped to provide money to save our club too, but not obviously on the size of the wealth they invested, yet, still for the good of the club I would have saved it in the short-term to get out of admin. and then stepped aside when MM came knocking on the door. I wouldn't want money back, I lost mine, so I feel it's the board's duty to step aside like true City fans and see this club finally move forward. There shouldn't have even been this 'dilly-dallying' by the current board to recoup their money.

I am now of the same opinion, whatever people say now, logic tells me it can only now be down to a marked reluctance to accept the deal by the board/shareholders. Stalling is the only constant !
