Flynny Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Sparky off here just text me and said Radio Leicester believes that AT resigned due to his understanding that MM is set to pull out.... Oh BOLLOCKS
Ric Flair Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Oh BOLLOCKS I wouldn't worry, I seem to recall Robbo posted a similar thing a week or so back when the news broke that MIlan's mum wall ill. Either sparky tunes in to another RL or Robbo talks out of his behind on a regular basis.
Babylon Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Robbo talks out of his behind on a regular basis.
Daggers Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Another Official Statement Disco Bob Official Takeover Statement Dave. today (Thursday) issued the following statement: "Dave. has today stepped down from his position of believing the take-over deal was going to be quick and easy; he is reported as saying that it is a huge pain in the arse that it keeps rumbling along...but at least that is better than the news that it has collapsed." "It is the opinion of Dave. that the resignations have no direct negative effect on the outcome and that the take-over is still proceeding as planned for Mandaric." "Dave. believes that in the meantime people should refrain from speculating in an hysterical fashion as has been seen in the threads this morning. http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~974164,00.html
ibbosuk Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Thats my view on it at present, and untill more comes to surface, it will remain a gloomy day.
Monk Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 This announcement is clearly very unclear so I am going to take a step back from the speculation and see what happens next. Whatever happens it shouldnt affect our preparation for Saturday! If we lose that then its gonna be a whole lot worse. I am hoping that he has resigned in order to clear the way for the takeover but no one has any evidence either way. I certainly dont trust the judgment of the Mockery or Radio Leicester.
bold_fox Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Sparky off here just text me and said Radio Leicester believes that AT resigned due to his understanding that MM is set to pull out.... Just posting to get a reaction and to make himself feel better.... Sad really that he's doing this via a forum over the internet.. OriginalRobboFOX your a fool.....
lookwhaticando Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Good to see something has got people talking this morning after we stopped at just three loans yesterday and not the seven everyone had hoped for. So what's going on here then eh? A few more resignations.... hmmm. BartonFox will be pleased.
surrifox Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Meanwhile an invitation to renew Foxes trust membership landed on my mat this morning
Daggers Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 BartonFox will be pleased. I do not believe that would ever happen. Ever.
lookwhaticando Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I do not believe that would ever happen. Ever. You telling me that 'Ronald' resigning from his paid position as chairman wouldn't tickle Barton's fish at all? G'way.
mf_12 Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Hi everybody, Been watching for ages but this is my first post... It is my understanding that Taylor and Clarke have resigned because they felt that they could no longer support the Mandaric bid, as it was recently altered by MM for the umpteenth time to a derisory level. As a result, they thought it was in the best interests of the club to step down. This is just what I've heard from a mate whoknows some people at the club so don't take it as gospel, but it seems like another twist has taken place in the Mandaric saga.

Daggers Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 You telling me that 'Ronald' resigning from his paid position as chairman wouldn't tickle Barton's fish at all? G'way. Bets. If there was a category for Least Happy FT Member in the 2007/8 poll he'd romp it. The only time he approaches happy is through schadenfreude...and even then I'll bet it's through a grimmace. I put it down to the not wearing of anything underneath the kilt when he was a boy - it can't be good for your vitals.
renards Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 Oh BOLLOCKS MM was on L Sound, sounded right pi$$ed off
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I don't think thats far from the truth. would explain why he publicly condemned the board over how long it is taking, pressurising them into accepting an even lower offer. arghh this is doing my head in

I think we should club togther and buy him a Paul Smith scarf, he'd be happy then.

I have a Paul Smith scarf, but it isn't THE Paul Smith Scarf, you want the cashmere one with the iconic multi-colured stripes, it's bordering 200 quid me thinks...so dig in

Thracian Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I do not believe that would ever happen. Ever. We'll have to work on it!
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I think it's about £125 I have a number of Paul Smith scarves... but not that one. do you have the brown 45 quid one with orange, red, cream and green stripes in the middle for your neck bun?
Daggers Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 We'll have to work on it! I'm on it... There, that should melt his heart:
Smudge Posted 1 February 2007 Posted 1 February 2007 I'm sure that there are any amount of reasons why he would resign but I don't understand why he would make way for the takeover. That would be a natural event when they hand over the keys to the Walkers. Regretably it looks more sinister insofaras he seems to be resigning as a point of principal. By example, he might have been accused of misleading the Board and sees his position as untenable. Alternatively perhaps he cannot get the Board to agree and is unable to see his way clear to present a united front to Mandaric and is therefore telling them all to get on with it. I hope I'm wrong.....
