fox123 Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 If Forest don't get promoted i'd love to see Kris Commons here, he's a quality Midfielder...although I think he's a local nottinghm lad and doubt he would come?
Mort Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 Just for shits and gigles, FR's latest dross... Leicester city to get Murphy of Spurs. Looking to get some young loanees of Arsenal, want to convince Wenger they will challenge so it will be valuable experience for the guys they wants, namely DENILSON, MERIDA, TRAORE, and ahem, WALCOTT! Some attacking football. We shall wait and see! To be honest Murphy and somone like Merida on loan might not be stupid, I've been saying that Merida on loan would be a good call for next season for a while... of course the fact that its on FR means if anything its less likley to happen
Onion Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 news of the world are saying chris coleman and ince are on the shortlist, short being an understatement.
Mort Posted 22 April 2007 Posted 22 April 2007 news of the world are saying chris coleman and ince are on the shortlist, short being an understatement. Old news really, there two names that are being thrown around a bit at the moment, doubt it'll be Ince... and frankly i really hope it isnt Ince!

Manwell Pablo Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 That Javier Saviolas not having his contract renewed is he? Sign him up! If the Championships good enough for Tevez it's good enough for him.
davieG Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 Source Sacked Fulham boss Chris Coleman is set for talks with Leicester City. The People says Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric has spoken to the former Fulham chief about the vacancy which will come up at the end of the season - and the Welshman may be keen. Coleman is desperate to bounce back after being axed by Fulham and he could fancy the idea of leading Mandaric's revolution at the Walkers Stadium if he can also bring his staff. Nigel Worthington is in charge on a caretaker basis and gave himself a chance with a vital late win at Preston yesterday. Macclesfield boss Paul Ince has been linked with the post but Coleman is now the favourite.
Manwell Pablo Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 Lennons still not signed an extension at Celtic. Could be a possabilty, I think he's got one more decent year left in him.

Manwell Pablo Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 Have to say I'd consider selling Stearman this season if we can get a good price for him, he's been consistently poor all season.

Ric Flair Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 Have to say I'd consider selling Stearman this season if we can get a good price for him, he's been consistently poor all season. I have to agree. This season has been a shocker for him, it's not as if he hasn't got the talent though. I'd take anything over £750,000 for him.
breadandcheese Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 I have to agree. This season has been a shocker for him, it's not as if he hasn't got the talent though. I'd take anything over £750,000 for him. If we could sell him for that and get somebody like Ostemobor on a free, then I would. Otherwise, I would be tempted to keep him and let another manager work with him. Too many players have gone backwards this season for it to be a coincidence, so a better stronger management setup will hopefully bring out his potential. There's no doubt he has talent and could be an excellent player for us.

Give a full season with a decent manager. He has been abused so much by Kelly, he is excused being confused. 2. Next year we will surely aim for around the top 8, that will surely increase his evaluation.
Sparky Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 talksport just said if their was 1 bet to be placed then it would be ince to be the new leicester manager , although he then said it is impossible to get a bet on him !

They said that at about Coventry... Ince is on the verge of getting Maccs relegated, he needs a full season at a club, but not city, it'd also seem very out of character for MM to apoint somone like Ince as manager, esspeically should Wortho continue to build on the improvments within the team we 've seen over the last few games... just hope we dont wind up with Ince as i'm far from convinced about him Source Sacked Fulham boss Chris Coleman is set for talks with Leicester City. Thats encouraging, I'd have Coleman down as somone MM would be interested in and frankly (as long as we stay up) we'll be about the most apealing job going for a manager at this level in the summer, i'm still not discounting Wortho (not the same as advocating him I should stress!) but Coleman is about the only other manager out there i would consider... and he'd be far more consistent with MM's history than somone like Ince who's only got stearing a League two side clear of relegation (and even thats not confirmed yet!).

To imply he is at fault if they get relegated is somewhat harsh!!!! That said, its Coleman for me but I certainly won't be reaching for a razor blade if good old Paul "kiss the badge" Ince pitches up!
Zingari Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 anyone know anything about the player from Cork City that we are supposed to be buying ; (Ross something or other)
weggy1976 Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 George Burley at Soton, I'd trust him with some cash and to develop the youngsters into 1st team....?

To imply he is at fault if they get relegated is somewhat harsh!!!! I agree... he had a hell of a task when he took over at Maccs, but still I'm not convinced... Coleman is the stand-out candidate, then again Wortho has IMHO done well since he arrived (then again how much is that perception down to K*lly being utter cack!?)... I dont have any real candidate who I'd champion above any other but Wortho and Coleman are probably in the top tier of those I'd consider (not that its my choice ).

The People's Hero Posted 23 April 2007 Posted 23 April 2007 George Burley at Soton, I'd trust him with some cash and to develop the youngsters into 1st team....? Too much in common with RK in terms of man-management. Has favourites (who are always cr ap but compliant) and falls out with anyone else within 15 games.
