It’s usually former players coming back to haunt us. Great knock from Cox, given us a real chance here.

Tom ruddy Taylor being a good case in point, seems like he's always on the park these days when he was rarely fit enough to play back to back games for the Foxes.

Yeah the club were fuming he left.

All over. Disappointing. These are a very poor batting side generally and yet they have chased this down easily. Very unlikely to qualify now, I think.

Have to win both to stand any kind of chance.

Sadly so. Too many of our batters have under performed sadly. Rishi is a super player in my opinion but has had a bad season thus far. Masood very disappointing. So too Kimber, but that’s less of a surprise.

Hope the return of Holland can lift our four day season when that resumes next week

Hope he doesn’t bowl Wood again. It’s a free 40 for whoever we play

There’s a good bowler in there but he bowls too many in the slot that inevitably gets smacked for six.

Didn’t take the chances today. Even taking one of the, very difficult, catches that went down would have made a difference.

Embarrassing!

No! But disappointing. We’ve still had a great season so far. Clearly Rehan wasn’t ready to bowl yet and I don’t understand why we played Thomas if we were going to bring him on so late and then for just one over.

Makes you wonder why Kimber chooses to bat first when our 2025 Blast record (won 1 lost 5) is useless. When chasing, we've won 5 and only lost 1

Absolutely. Daft.

Tried to be too clever batting first there, our T20 record speaks for itself…

Patel and to a (only slight) less extent masood have been very disappointing this season.

How can he bowl Rehan for 4 overs when he’s rarely bowled this year, and not bowl himself?

I’m glad he didn’t bowl. He’s a part timer at best, but Thomas I don’t understand. Just one over for 8 when Rehan was going around the park! Why bring a guy on loan if you’re not going to use him?

We're just missing too many first teamers and our squad is not strong enough to cope. Hull and Ahmed have only bowled in about half of the games, Holland has missed it all and Mike has only played a couple of games.

I think this would be our best team:

Budinger

Patel

Masood

Ahmed

Kimber

Cox

Holland

Trevaskis

Mike

Scriven

Hull

Not been able to play this XI even once in the campaign.

I thought he would learn, but Kimber seems to keep bowling the wrong bowlers

Lost to a bang average side unfortunately. Not sure why we continue with Wood and why only bowl Thomas 1 over  🤷‍♂️

Scriven bowled superbly again.

It just seems to be muddled thinking or maybe overthinking? Fons needs to get a grip.
2 games left and need to win both to have any chance.

Backed him all through his difficulties with injuries and then just cleared off.

When you say they backed him what choice did they have ? He was on a 3 year contract if they could have cancelled the contract they would have

The real problem is lack of depth in the squad. The playing schedule is relentless and we need more quality in the background to fill in for injuries when they inevitably occur.
