Down to your 8th and 9th choice seamers before a ball is even bowled is a shambles. Sussex knew we needed a good start and pretty much this game is gone already.

Don’t think we’ve produced a bad batting track in years to be fair. It looked good in the university warm up game. It’s just ensuring we bat well first up.

Could have played Walker who was at the ground v Derby last week and still been training with the club. Not the worse bowler in the world and a useful bat

Bit early to say but not a great start is it. Bowled a few decent balls. Ive seen him play before I mean he is a league bowler normally. 

 

If the Aussie could catch be well on top.
