Warks and the Notts games on the same weekend had less runs scored too. 18 wickets fell in the first two sessions in Glamorgan’s next game.

Can we have a ‘**** the ECB’ chant at Trent Bridge later this month?

I expect the travelling contingent will be fairly receptive to that!

Half the bowlers injured aswell! Bad day all round! Explains why we signed Gilcrest and promoted Theo Marshall i guess. Hope they're all back for the final 🤞

No Scriven, Hull or Davey! That’s all of our top run scorers from the Notts match!!

Is anyone watching? Why have there been so many no balls already? Disaster of a start having put them in they're racing along.

Yes, I’m watching. Not good!

Because Ben Mike is playing lol, that’s a points deduction in itself.

Think we will go down regardless of points deduction. Squad not good enough. Once two or three are missing we don't have the players to step in. Putting the other team in overcast damp conditions and letting them get 160-0 is a joke. Maybe just fold all our sports teams they are doing my head in this week.

I don’t really agree with the “corrupt” ECB people are claiming, each individual pitch is marked on its own merits by the match referee present during the whole game.

The key is did Leicestershire prepare the best pitch possible? As that is the important question, it doesn’t matter what’s happened at other grounds as they will have their own match referee present.
The game going 4 days is also irrelevant.

Pitches are marked on seam, spin and uneven bounce and if any of these are deemed to be “excessive” then there will be a pitch enquiry.

Leicestershire (Henderson and Thomas) will have known the risks in not preparing the best pitch possible (if that turns out to be the case)

Thats the way the ECB guidelines work.

I reckon they have just had the energy sapped out of them. Play a load of club cricketers against Warwickshire and make the final match a farce.
