Some times they just try too many variations Naveen would be far better suited to target the stumps more the LBW yorker was a hell of a ball but 1st win of the season

Great to get a win on the board. Off to my first game of the season at Derby on Tuesday so hopefully a similar performance will be on the cards!

Naveen is dogmuck but some how he’s the highest wicket taker in the competition currently. 
 

Absolute pleasure to be there and watch Inglis’ innings. Just looked up how he was born in Leeds but brought up in Australia

Inglis is the key to us winning any games. If he gets out too soon I can’t see anyone else hitting the boundaries as consistently as he does

On a side note too, the County is a lovely pub outside Northants ground. Was lovely to sit there with my Dad, something to eat and a drink before going to watch some live sport.

Some interesting stats I've seen on tonight's game. Naveed has a pretty poor economy up near 10 so far in the Blast but has bowled the most dot balls and taken the joint most wickets.

 

Shows that whilst he's bowling a lot of good stuff there are also a lot of hittable balls in there too (and the odd head high beamer).

That's the most worrying thing for me. I know it can happen to any bowler but the frequency of these going down is a huge concern, especially at moments in the match where we've needed to exercise the greatest discipline.
