Stevosevic Posted 5 June 2007 Posted 5 June 2007 Thompson - exactly the type of player we need, i think he'll be ready to step down a division this time around.
Mort Posted 6 June 2007 Posted 6 June 2007 how much do you think, if we went for joey gudjonsson we could get him for?burnley signed him 150k, he got alot of experiance at the age of 27 of this division We can do much, much better than Joey Gudjohnson... back in the bad old "pre-milan" days he was an average player in a very poor squad, but as i say now we can set our sights much higher.

The People's Hero Posted 6 June 2007 Posted 6 June 2007 Li Tie is not actually a bad player. Worth a gamble. Sheff Utd might not want too much for him.
jim_morris31279 Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 Just read on the BBC site that Kemal Izzet is stalling over a new contract at Colchester: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/6734985.stm Does anyone agree he could be worth a punt if things don't get resolved? Maybe he could emulate some of the form his big bruv displayed back in the good old days?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 You've got to be liking the prospect of that Woolers.
James. Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 Don't know much about the chap but if he's any good we Must-af-a chance of getting him, right? EDIT: I am truly sorry.

Maybe he could emulate some of the form his big bruv displayed back in the good old days? I've watched him carefully a few times and I don't think so. He's busy, but never seems to have as much impact as his brother. For me, he's a mediocre Championship player. Good engine but sadly, little product.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 wtf. You love the bloke. You're always mentioning him!
The People's Hero Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 You've got to be liking the prospect of that Woolers. Only because we could wear Fezs to games and people wouldn't question it. In fact, we should sign a Greek/Turkish/North African/Bzyantine/Ottoman player regardless of ability.
The People's Hero Posted 8 June 2007 Posted 8 June 2007 wtf. You love the bloke. You're always mentioning him! I always liked him and have followed his career. To be honest, he's no worse than a lot of what we've got.. and he certainly wouldn't be disastrous... but in terms of an aspiring premiership team, I don't think he has the ability or (I hate to say this as it's a Thracianism) impact on games.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 June 2007 Posted 13 June 2007 Martin Cranie is a young, promising defender who looks set to leave Southampton. I wouldn't mind him coming here, just as backup to our current defence. LINK
MPH Posted 18 June 2007 Posted 18 June 2007 this is in no way a rumour- just a thought nof my own ..... Mark McGhee has just been appointed manager of Motherwell. I really think that Stephen Hughes is the sort of player he will go for.... Lets hope so!
The Reverend Posted 18 June 2007 Posted 18 June 2007 Martin Cranie is a young, promising defender who looks set to leave Southampton. I wouldn't mind him coming here, just as backup to our current defence.LINK I'd be pretty happy if we got him. Very promising young defender.

Tommy G Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I would love to see Paul Scholes finish his career at Leicester at some point in the future
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I would love to see Paul Scholes finish his career at Leicester at some point in the future If Paul Scholes ever leaves Manchester United I think it's failry obvious where he's going.
Ric Flair Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 If Paul Scholes ever leaves Manchester United I think it's failry obvious where he's going. Oldham?
Super Arj Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Darren Huckerby leaving Norwich in the summer we have to sign himlinkageisms
dandannieldanok Posted 21 April 2008 Author Posted 21 April 2008 Darren Huckerby leaving Norwich in the summerwe have to sign himlinkageisms Decent player at this level but I don't think he'd be great for team morale, the type of character who would throw a wobbly if substituted.
Joe. Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 Oldham? Yep. There's only one place he'd go to after (if at all) finishing with United.
RowlattsFox Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I think we might see Paul Scholes go to Blackburn in the summer, Anderson will take his place next season and Man Utd have been linked with other midfielders.

Tommy G Posted 21 April 2008 Posted 21 April 2008 I think we might see Paul Scholes go to Blackburn in the summer, Anderson will take his place next season and Man Utd have been linked with other midfielders. He is still better than Anderson in pretty much every part of his game apart from Pace and tackling. Then again most living huming beings can tackle better than Paul.
Geo V Posted 22 April 2008 Posted 22 April 2008 I would love to see Paul Scholes finish his career at Leicester at some point in the future Scholes is still one of the better midfielders in England if used occasionally and thats what Fergie seems to be doing with his older lads like Scholes and Giggs. When they come in for a game they look class so I cant see them doing anything but ending their careers at United. We must be a close second as an option for them though.
